Heslington is a picturesque area close to the city centre & University of York.

The place was well equipped, very clean in a quiet neighbourhood. The host is very helpful and responsive. The driveway was very handy and spacious to park the car. The WiFi was at times temperamental but the host was helpful to reboot the booster. In general a very nice stay.

Tang Hall was my first stop on a 15 day tour to do the NC500, and it didn't disappoint. Wendy and Fynn greated me with a warm and friendly welcome, and showed me the treehouse and bathroom area, explaining all the various bits and pieces. It was wonderful to stay somewhere so unique and I recommend to anyone travelling solo.. Wendy provided extensive snacks and drinks for my stay, which was very welcomed for a 6am departure.. if ever I'm in the area again I will be back to stay 😊

Everything was wonderful – the location, the environment, and the room itself. Thank you, Catherine and Gabriel, for being such lovely hosts. This stay has become a warm part of my memories in York. Wishing you all the best :)
