Cottage vacation rentals in Goleen

We had a wonderful stay at the Beach House! Location, location, location is what it was all about, just stunning! Great outdoor and indoor space for all of the family. We all enjoyed the sauna and it was just a pity that the hot tub was not in use, but it did not spoil anything. The only thing to be mindful of is the shortage of hot water when taking a shower, which i think has been mentioned in previous reviews. However, overall it's the most amazing location and house for a break in West Cork and we really hope we will be back one summer in the future!

Loved the house and amenities, the hydrobath and sauna are amazing and the view is beautiful. So nice chilling out in the jacuzzi looking at the mountains and stars

Had such an amazing stay here. Beautiful home with loads of lovely touches like the candles. Was so cosy as well. Noreen was also so helpful with instructions and responded straight away to any questions we had. Wish we had booked to stay longer!

We loved the location. It was great being able to bring the dogs with us, and go for walks to the nearby beach. The view from the garden was stunning. Finally, communication from Sarah was prompt and lots of useful recommendations for staying in the area. Thank you!

The cottage is tucked away in the countryside, and was very clean. The best thing was the wood stove - lots of wood and toasty. We did the night kayaking trip on Lough Hyne and Donagh had the fire lit when we got back. That was fantastic !

From the very beginning Tom was very helpful and always responsive. When we had problems he was quick to respond and help us in whatever we needed. He and his wife were very friendly and l loved talking to them. I highly recommend this place. Obviously you need a car to get around. Thanks for making us feel at home.

If I could give this place more than 5⭐️ I would! Frances Airbnb might be one of my favorites yet! Not only is it SO beautiful and peaceful, Frances was the most lovely host. Her attention to detail in The Snug is so apparent and she was so helpful and kind! Also we LOVED her little dog Bear, he made our stay 100x even more special. We only had two nights there but I will definitely be back for longer in the future!

Lovely accommodation in beautiful West Cork. really good restoration and conversion of two old dwellings. Kevin was easy to communicate with, providing prompt informative responses. We stayed in March when few places were open. Sugarloaf cafe worth a visit. And Garnish is a good day out. Had lovely weather, so enjoyed walking in the area around the cottage. Happy to recommend.

We absolutely loved our long weekend in Annette’s cottage - it was so cosy and had absolutely everything we needed. Annette was so friendly and a fantastic host - she gave us loads of recommendations and had even left a little welcome basket of goodies. We had the most relaxing weekend - will definitely be back!

I have stayed in this cottage quite a few times over the years - and I always enjoy it immensely. The cottage is lovely, decorated in a style that suits its age, and set in the most stunning scenery. It feels as though you're in the middle of nowhere - it is so quiet the deer come right up to the patch of grass in front of the house in the evenings and there are so many different birds it's almost like an orchestra - but you're definitely not: There are two good restaurants in the area, a nice pub near a harbour, a lunchroom in gorgeous gardens and a very well stocked shop-and-tearoom only a 20 minute drive away. So yes, I will come again!

We had a wonderful time staying at Des‘ cottage. If you are looking for a modern take on the traditional Irish Cottage - this is the place for you! Super cozy, has everything you need and more. Des provided everything for a delicious breakfast and was extremely helpful along the way. Also the place has everything if you are traveling with a small child as we were. 5 Star rating is more than deserved! We hope to be back :-)

We spent a lovely New Year here. Karen's mum came over to check all was OK and she was really warm and friendly. A spacious house, very comfortable, located only a short walk from all amenities. Waterville is a great village and the surrounding area is stunning. We'll be back.

Treasa is an excellent host, fresh baked scones dropped down on arrival alongside a bottle of wine. very responsive and helpful host and all round kind person. Place is beautiful and very reasonable. Pub across the road and beach less than a 5 min drive away. Would definitely stay again.

An ideal, quiet, disconnected getaway. Idyllic location just off the main road but quiet due to the abundance of trees nearby. A simple and cozy place to relax without any distractions. Ideal for two adults just looking for a place to lay their heads at night and disconnect from things. Dan is an absolute gentleman and a lightning fast responder on messages. perfect.

We had a lovely stay at Riona’s and Paddy’s place. The appartement had everything we needed. Riona was super welcoming and we loved that she baked some fresh bread for us upon arrival. I would highly recommend staying here if you are exploring the Kingdom.

Our second stay at the cottages in two years which is always a good indication of how at home I feel lhere. If you are looking for a complete switch off, amazing countryside and total chill out... This is the place to do it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Nick’s beautiful little cottage. It was warm and cosy with the option of electric heating or wood-burning heater. The kitchen was well equipped and functional. The bed was very comfortable. Nick gave us some excellent recommendations for touring and sightseeing. I highly recommend Nick’s cottage.

Amazing host and place. Quiet, with many birds singing and an unbelievable sunrise and sunset on the horizon. Mary's cottage is bright and clean, with everything you need for cooking, sleeping, and staying comfortable for more than 2 nights. It was a happy find among so many options on Airbnb. Pretty much excellent. Only small thing was the washing machine didn't work, but really not enough of an issue to detract from the full experience and plenty launderettes in town in any case so still 5*
