Lovely apartment & within walking distance to city centre. The host gives clear instructions, is always responsive, & goes the extra miles to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible — highly recommend!

The location is amazing. You can easily find the museums you want to see and the flavors you want to taste nearby. Duygu's a very friendly person. She told us everything in the area before we asked. A wonderful house to stay with friends. And a great host.

We had a great stay, the place matched the description and we didn't need anything.

This is a terrific location in a nice area of the city center, right along a pretty canal. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The central train station is a 10 minute walk. The apartment has a relatively large living space with a bedroom area and convertible sofa. There was plenty of dishware and utensils for dining at “home”. There was also a washing machine but no dryer, so we did not use the washer but it was available with clothes pins etc. for hang drying. The bathroom had a clean shower with nice hot water and plenty of supplies like soap, shampoo and conditioner. Douwe was extremely responsive to our needs. We arrived early but he generously allowed us to check in while he finished cleaning the bathroom. He made us feel that he’d be available if we needed anything. I would definitely stay here again on a return trip to Amsterdam.

A top accommodation, a whole experience

This was a beautiful place. It was much better than I imagined. It is the first Ike staying at a boat house and I don’t think we could have got a better experience. Both Rob and Karin were very responsive and took care of our needs immediately. The bedroom above is very spacious. Only thing to note is that the bathroom is only downstairs. It worked out fine for us. I highly recommend this place for a stay for max 3 people.

Peggy was incredibly kind and accommodating throughout the entire process, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The apartment was very well equipped and had a beautiful view, making it a truly memorable stay. I would highly recommend it!

We stayed at Michiel's place for 3 nights and loved the apartment and the location. A ten minute walked got us to the Metro and the ride to the center of town was about 15 minutes. One day we decided to walk back from town, about 35 minutes and it was very pleasant. A Lidl grocery store is a 5 minute walk. Michiel was very responsive to our questions and gave us excellent answers. Appreciated the 1.5 baths, meaning, one bathroom had toilet and sink and the other had shower, tub and sink. If you plan on watching tv, you will need to download chromecast, but why watch tv when you can enjoy Amsterdam. Nice outside patio too. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful appartement in a very nice loaction, you can relax around the farm, Abcoude is a cute little town just a 15min walk away and you can get very easily to Amsterfam by train. We have enjoyed our stay and have spent a great time there.

We’ve enjoyed staying at Gerrit’s place. Host was friendly and communicated well. House has a lovely little garden 🏡, and beautiful surroundings 🌳🏡. It’s a peaceful neighborhood! highly recommended :)

We had a great time at the cottage in Landsmeer! Everything was great – the house was very clean, well equipped and cozily furnished. The location is quiet yet close to Amsterdam which was perfect for excursions. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the accommodation was perfect, spacious, clean, well presented, comfortable. The games room and bikes were a nice bonus. The location was great for Amsterdam central, Leon and his family were happy to help with taxi service and it made it a super easy experience. It was also nice to come to a much quieter area to stay and escape the busy city. Leon answered all of our questions, explained everything well, you couldnt ask for more from an air BnB stay.

Mati and the canal house apartment were a perfect place to stay. The whole city was walkable or easy rides on trams. She was quickly responsive to our needs and very friendly. My wife liked the dozen or so resale and vintage stores within a block of two. The hosts recommendations for restaurants were wonderful and nearby. Never disappointed by local food and drink.

This was such a wonderful find just outside of the hustle of Amsterdam! The house was clean, easy to enjoy with a family. Close to the beach, store, transportation. Quick tram ride to the heart of the city but a nice escape from it. Communication was excellent and Guido made everything easy!

The house is an absolute dream! Beautifully located in the countryside, super cozy and furnished with a lot of love for detail – really cute. I could have moved in right away! Especially the modern bathroom with the great bathtub is a highlight. Practical things like the washing machine are also stylish and unobtrusively integrated. All in all, an all-round beautiful home away from home. We will definitely be back! 🥰

Helena is a great and hospitable host and she made us feel welcome right away. The location is hard to beat, with tons to do in the immediate area and all of the major areas of the city reachable within a 30 minute walk.

Me and my girlfriend spent a weekend in Amsterdam and we really enjoyed our stay in Alies appartment. The appartment was cozy designed and the neighbourhood was quiet but with many restaurants and bars to visit. The hosts were helpful and the check-in went smoothly. 5/5!

We can highly recommend Ingrid’s apartment in Amsterdam North. Ingrid was very friendly and personable. She sent clear instructions prior to our visit on how to find the apartment. We took the metro from Amsterdam Central station and then walked to the apartment which took about 20 mins. The apartment itself is very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and in a quiet residential area, though there are quite a few passers by and cyclists but this was not a problem at all. One feature is Ingrid provides the use of two bicycles which are brilliant, it meant we could cycle into central Amsterdam via the free ferry in about 15 mins. Ingrid also provided recommendations for local restaurants/cafes which was helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation returning.

Such a great weekend in Amsterdam in this spacious apartment, very well located on the banks of the canals.

Bill’s apartment was fantastic for our stay. The parking was great and felt secure, and the tram link into Amsterdam is just around the corner. Great value for anyone looking to explore Amsterdam and be very comfortable over a long weekend!

We had a great stay at Joze’s Amsterdam apartment!! Great communication with the owners, a lovely natural light apartment with balcony and easy transportation options ( 2 tram lines within a 6 minute walk). Joze makes it very clear about the steep canal house stairs. The two flights are steep but there are lights and railings which I appreciated as I’m in my 70’s. We loved our stay in this peaceful neighborhood.

Second stay at Monique's apartment in less than a year. Nice apartment very well maintained, very bright, in the North sector of Amsterdam, away from the crowds of tourists, but very easy to access to the tourist center of Amsterdam. In addition, the apartment is very safe, nicely decorated, bedding, down and quality towels. We recommend this apartment without hesitation and we plan to return if we have a chance.
