Villa vacation rentals in Government of Amsterdam

We had a fantastic stay at Joëlle’s house! We travelled with two children aged 6 and 2 who loved the play gym, trampoline and sand pit with digger! It really felt like a home away from home with kids as it had all the amenities you need: high chairs, kids crockery, toys etc. The house is stunning, so much so that people passing by stopped to ask us about it. You can swim in the river in front which our 6 year old loved. Joëlle was very responsive and checked in to see how we were. The location is really beautiful and quiet. We used the bikes with the house so didn’t need a car but it did mean we had to time buses and trains very carefully as the bus to the house is only every hour. I think if you want proper freedom then get a car but it’s not mandatory as you can travel in to Amsterdam/Utrecht in 1h/1.5hrs, which we did a few times. Weesp is great and has nice restaurants and you can hire a boat nearby which is worth it! We would love to go back again!

Jeannot was the best host from start to finish! He provided an amazing advance PDF of Amsterdam information and communicated via Whats App throughout. He even paid my tab at the local ice cream parlour after I discovered they did not take credit cards and the closest ATM was broken. The location is perfect for a stay with a large family. It was a great place to start and end the day and so easy to get to the city center from.

Frank is an outstanding host. He provided fantastic and detailed information upfront. The check-in was smooth, and we were provided with local snacks, and Frank set us up with breakfast for our first morning in Amsterdam. This made it very comfortable after a long trip. Whenever we had a question, Frank replied within minutes. We all had a great and relaxing stay. Our kids often asked us if we could stay inside the house rather than going on day trips. That's how much they enjoyed the place and the cute little garden where they could play with water (you have to watch out for tiny kids that can't swim though). In short, it was fun, and we had a good time.

We had an amazing stay at Sonja’s place. Everything was just perfect. The location was excellent. The neighbourhood is beautiful. A row of houses with the canal as the backyard. Absolute peace and quiet and extremely secure. It’s a 4 minute walk to the tram station where there’s a tram every 10 min to the Central Station. It just takes 10 minutes to reach Central Station. The living area and kitchen are brilliant with all necessary equipments. The backyard is brilliant with an easy access to the canal. We didn’t use the pizza oven and the barbecue but I reckon they would be great when used. There are three bedrooms on the first floor and the view from the open space from there is lovely. The bathroom is huge and has a sun roof. Overall a brilliant experience. Sonja was very responsive and left a detailed note on how things work. We (2 adults and 2 kids) loved the stay and will again stay there in a heartbeat.

This Air B&B was a lovely home. Quiet neighbourhood, grocery store, bakery and local coffee shop near by.

We were 12 days at Bas‘s & his family‘s house in Uitdam (2 adults, 3 kids, 1 dog) during July/ August and had a really great stay. The house is big, clean and everything was prepared. The kids fell so in love with all the toys, the ice cube machine and at least with several hundreds of Donald Duck comics. The view on the markermeer is breathtaking and the neighborhood is that kind. There are plenty of things to do - playing in the house and around, jumping for a swim in the markermeer, flying kites, beach time in Monnickendam & fritjes @strandvier, going with the rubber boat, ice cream.. perfect summer holidays & always nice communication with Bas and his family!

Was clean, quiet, well appointed and just what we expected. The home was ideal, close to amenities and Amsterdam, yet quietly secluded within a charming modern neighborhood. Isabelle thought of everything, is a wonderful host and great communicator. We highly recommend staying here - you won't be disappointed.

We had a really nice time at Floor's house. She is very friendly, responds immediately and gives good tips for the area. The house is exactly as in the pictures, neatly tidy and tidy. The area is also very quiet and a 15-minute walk to the center of Haarlem. In short, highly recommended!

The house was above our expectations. Provided everything we needed and was spacious enough for our group of 9. We’d definitely return in the future!

Really enjoyed this last minute booking after arranging our tickets to the historic Dutch GrandPrix 2021 Formula 1. The Host Vivian was a great communicator pre, during and post the event. She arranged a pass through ticket to the closed event area within Zandvoort, which was a unique ticket to have closer access to the event by car. The house has a lot of charm, especially the living room and the garden with its relaxing area that was very welcome after a day of 20 thousands steps in Zandvoort.

Large house with lots of space, directly on the water and a short walk to Abcoude. Easy communication and check in.

We had a great time with the family with our elderly parents. The setting is new and charming, the house is beautifully decorated with great taste. The canals and beautiful neighboring houses give this cute little country home an exclusive vibe. The location was perfect, 40 min from Keufenhof Tulip Park and 20 min from the center of Amsterdam.

This house is absolutely stunning! Unique decor and layout, and it's very quiet. Peaceful neighborhood with nice green areas, within walking distance to the center of Haarlem. The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures, and was a perfect fit for 5 people where everyone can have some privacy. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at the wonderful house of Bruno, Caroline and their kids. The house has a such a great design with attention for detail, high quality and at the same time it is a warm and welcoming family house. It really felt like home for our kids and us. Kids enjoyed the trampoline in the garden and the ice cream shop across the road. Beds are very comfortable. Location is perfect, close to the beach and some lovely lakes in the dunes where you can swim and which are well suited for kids. We were lucky with the sunny weather end of April. Josetta (co-host) took very good care of us: clear and timely instructions, proactive sharing of ideas. All in all we highly recommend Bruno & Caroline's house, as well as their hospitality and the overall experience.

The accommodation is in a unique location overlooking the beach and North Sea. It’s tastefully furnished and thoughtfully equipped. Even has its own private fitness equipment and there is also the use of an indoor pool. Everything was immaculate and every detail from the cozy bedding to the modern amenities made our stay exceptionally comfortable. Luna’s mother went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and gave us some outstanding local tips. It would be a perfect location for a larger gathering as Luna also runs a Beach House opposite. Whether you are looking for a peaceful getaway, an active beach holiday or simply a beautiful place to relax and unwind, this is the perfect place. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the best of IJmuidens coastal charm.

Dennis is a very nice man, we did not have any problems with check in or check out, the house is beautiful and decorated with everything. You hardly need to bring anything. The kitchen the bathroom bedrooms were all nice and wonderful.

We had a fantastic time at Pelle's house. It's just unique and even more enchanting than in the photos. The kids had a lot of fun - the location is simply phenomenal and the accommodation offers everything your heart desires and a lot more. The house is very cleverly decorated and offers a lot of space and retreats for all ages. We would definitely come back.

My family of 5 had a wonderful time at this home! It was beautiful, clean, relaxing and extremely convenient to get around town via bus/metro. We walked every morning around town because the town is extremely charming with several restaurants and a market 2 blocks away. I made breakfast every morning in the beautiful kitchen which had everything one would need. The host was so incredibly amazing, he tracked my flight and knew I would be arriving hours before I told him I would be so he was waiting for us which was amazing after a long flight. He was so sweet, courteous and caring. We were greeted with a warm welcome and many, many treats for us in the refrigerator. From eggs, milk, selection of fresh breads, sweets, fruit, wine, a delicious pear juice, selection of deli meats, butter, and many more items. The warmest welcome we’ve ever received. As if that’s not enough, the AC worked great! The pics don’t do it justice. This is a must stay! Thank you so much for everything!!
