A cosy and bright, ground floor studio, centrally located in a lively village of Sacriston, just under 3 miles away from historic Durham City and 4 miles from Chester-le-Street, making it an ideal base for attending events in the area . In a quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle of overpriced tourist hot spots, without compromising on easy access to Durham as well as other surrounding cities and attractions, thanks to an excellent public transport links and a close proximity to A1.
“Beautifully decorated, warm, cosy, sparkling clean studio. Comfortable bed with lovely linen. Absolutely everything has been thought out to make the most of the space. A lovely breakfast is provided - home made bread and jams etc.. We arrived earlier than expected but Aggie and Tomasz were great hosts and showed us in and everything was ready. Great location for visiting the wider area. Will definitely book again when we visit next time.”
This charming barn conversion with a lovely combination of stone and brickwork, has recently been fully refurbished. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of daily life in the picturesque village of Lamesley Pastures, situated on the outskirts of the city of Newcastle Upon Tyne. The best of both worlds with ease of access to stunning countryside and also only a mile from the A1. Sleeping four this luxurious barn is an excellent choice for couples or families seeking a peaceful retreat.
“We stayed at the Barn for 3 weeks after our house was flooded. The location is great, 5 mins drive to a huge Sainsbury’s and very accessible for the A1 and 10 mins drive into Newcastle city centre. The property is definitely a wow factor. It has been styled to a very high standard. I have gone away with some great interior design ideas. The place is spotless and Laura & Steven were always on hand if you needed them. It felt like home from home. Would highly recommend this little gem !”
We have carefully furnished the house with high quality beds, bedding & furniture with guest comfort and relaxation in mind. The private garden and patio area at the back of the house is a great for Al fresco meals and relaxation (Weather permitting !). A spacious conservatory provides a further seating area . New smart TV's have been installed in the master bedroom, the lounge and the kitchen. parking for 2 cars off road We aim to provide a home from home & look forward to welcoming or guests.
“I can't recommend staying with Bryan and Helen highly enough. It was my first time booking accommodation through Air BnB, and they were incredibly supportive in answering any questions I had and meeting us to check us in. The house is beautifully renovated to a high standard and has all the amenities you could need. We were in the area to take the children to visit Beamish Open Air Museum which is only five minutes down the road. All in all it was a wonderful visit and we would stay again in a heartbeat if we were in the area again.”
