“The place is beautiful and we all really enjoyed going out in the paddle boat and fishing in the pond. I think the thing my husband and I enjoyed the most was sitting out on the front porch in the morning enjoying the cool mountain air, listening to the gurgling of the little stream and the birds singing while enjoying our coffee.....and not thinking about work at all!! This is a beautiful place! Very clean and secluded, but still has high speed internet which was a big plus for us. If you're looking for peace and quite while enjoying nature this is the place. We'll definitely be back.”
The Fairy Tale cottage is located in Historic Jonesborough, the oldest town in Tennessee and the storytelling capital of the word. The Fairy Tale cottage is a Sears and Roebuck house kit built in the early 1920's.The private apartment, separate from the rest of the house, has one queen bed and a roll away twin bed is available as well. A wonderful homemade breakfast is included in your amenities. Jennifer, your hostess is known for her baking! Come rest and rejuvenate in this quaint home.
“I loved the atmosphere of Jennifer's place. The space is below the main house and includes the main bedroom and a bath/wash area. It is an older home and has all of the charm you would expect. The main decorations made the space cozy and the Easter decorations were a nice touch. You can tell that Jennifer put a lot of time and care into the place. Also, the breakfast was amazing! One thing I will note is that there is a lot of natural light that comes into the main sleeping area. Because the curtains are sheer, you may want to bring an eye mask if you like to sleep in late (I work nights and didn't really mind all the light since I am not the type of person that needs it to be dark in order to sleep).”
Welcome to our treehouse the "Bostonian". Settled among the trees beside this abandoned rock quarry pond you will find this unique gem. We are close to everything being only 3 minutes from the Boones creek exit, and yet we are away from it all on this secluded 34 acres oasis. Enjoy setting on the porch under the trees or snuggled up with a good book or that special someone. *No Photo Shoots* *No Events*
“We stayed at the treehouse for a quick getaway (we are an hour and a half away), and were truly BLOWN away from the moment we pulled up. First off, the treehouse itself is so cleverly & beautifully built and was one of the most architecturally stunning places we’ve seen. It felt like being in a fairytale. The quarry is very serene, and we spent 95% of the time on the porch enjoying the quiet views. The other house on the property was occupied but we felt we had the entire place to ourselves. Danielle was very quick in responding and answering any questions we had. Even though “downtown” Johnson City is a quick 10 minute drive away, you truly feel like you’re in another world in this space. We WILL be back!!”
