“We thoroughly enjoyed our New Year break in Caroline’s very comfortable barn. It was warm, spacious, comfortable and homely. Caroline had provided many little extras which were very welcome. All the equipment worked well. The bed was extremely comfortable and although there were a couple of cockerels with the hens we weren’t disturbed at all by them. There are many lovely short and long walks in the area and Gt Ayton is a picturesque quintessentially English village. I’d have every confidence in recommending a holiday here.”

“We had a great weekend at the Stonehouse - despite the torrential rain! Vicki and William are warm, friendly hosts, and the welcome pack was much appreciated. The Stonehouse is spacious with good amenities, nice and warm in winter and a view out over the garden. Also a very good location to walk into Great Ayton to various pubs and cafes. We look forward to staying again!”
