This place is nothing short of stunning. Only an hour away from Cape Town, yet a world of it own. Wish we could have stayed a week. With Darling, Yzerfontein and the National Park with Geelbek flamingos and Church haven on the lagoon all in very easy reach. You simply do not want to leave. Wes Kus is die Bes Kus

We had a lovely time in Grotto. Tranquil surroundings, lots of birdlife and we even saw a little buck at the property's gate. The house is spacious and has a lot of character. My kids loved the great collection of books and their spacious upstairs room. The pizza oven was a hit as well. Kids were slightly disappointed that there wasn't a trampoline, but we had beautiful weather and spent a lot of time on the stunning private beach, which is walking distance from the property. All in all a lovely weekend getaway!
