“Perfect base to explore Northumberland, the cottage was cosy and perfectly equipped for a few days quiet getaway. Charles & Dee were great hosts with loads of local knowledge and recommendations and were very accommodating. Love that the farm is powered by renewables and the underfloor heating was a welcome addition in February! We used Gunnerton as a base to easily explore Hadrian's Wall, Bamburgh and the North Lakes.”
Come and stay in this cosy caravan at the bottom of our garden! Described by one guest as ‘the tardis of joy,’ this mobile home is deceptively spacious and surprisingly comfortable. With double glazing, central heating and a gas fire, it is warm as toast all year round. When the weather is fine, you can make use of the large, south-facing garden. Situated in a quiet street just a 10-15 minute walk from Hexham town centre, it’s handy for all the amenities this historic market town has to offer.
“Alison's caravan was cosy and warm, even when it was cold outside. It was separated from a quiet road by trees, at the end of a long garden. The caravan was well supplied with breakfast items, books, games and toiletries. We had a great stay.”
Bramble Cottage is located within the beautiful Northumbrian village of Barrasford. It is on the edge of the Northumberland National Park and close to Hadrian's Wall. The village has an award winning pub and a friendly village shop. Shopping, arts and culture along with fantastic restaurants and coffee shops can be found in the nearby historic towns of Hexham and Corbridge and surrounding villages. It is a great base to discover all that Northumberland and the surrounding area has to offer.
“Bramble cottage was the perfect place to stay for our trip to Hadrian's wall and Kielder forest. Self check in was easy with the lockbox and parking right outside the front door. Karen had kindly left a bottle of wine for us to enjoy as well as some biscuits to go with the coffee pods provided. The cottage was comfortable and had all the pots, pans and utensils that we needed to cook a few meals. The bed was soft and the towels fluffy. I'd definitely recommend a stay here.”
