Thank you David for a lovely stay! We stayed for part of my husband’s 40th as a short family break. The neighbours were lovely and the pool was fab! We enjoyed the surroundings and felt very chilled 😊 thank you!

What a great find! The location was beautiful, so peaceful, miles of beautiful scenery with wonderful wildlife all around. We even saw a red squirrel feasting at the bird feeder outside the kitchen window! The cottage was perfect, everything you could possibly need is there, including a pint of milk and some yummy biscuits on arrival. The bedrooms were great with very comfy beds. The bathroom was a perfect family bathroom with a great size bath looking out over the hills. The utility room was perfect for any messy items complete with a washing machine and the detergent, super helpful when travelling with kids. The courtyard had a lovely bistro table, perfect for sitting with a cup of tea and enjoying the peace and quiet. Martin was an amazing host, he was there to make sure check in went smoothly, was always on hand with any questions we had and generally a lovely person to stand and have a chat with to learn about the local life. We would definitely return here, thank you 😊

We had a fantastic stay in Diane’s cottage. It’s a lovely place, very well equipped, and in a great location for exploring the area. Communication with Diane beforehand was really easy, and she provided plenty of useful information and tips. We loved Hawes, and indeed the many places around it. We will definitely return, and if so, wouldn’t hesitate to stay in Diane’s cottage again.

We loved our stay here and wish we'd have had longer. The house is surrounded by beautiful scenery - great for walks and bike rides. It was super peaceful, we loved hearing the birds in the morning. Inside was lovely - really comfy bed, well equipped and lots of nice little touches that just feel that your stay has been thought about - a torch, a shopping tote, big umbrella etc. Nice coffee and a caramel wafer too! So nice having heated towel rails and they'd put the heating on too ahead of our arrival so it was nice and cosy. Steve was very friendly when we checked in and went to the trouble to get the fire pit out for us and had good recommendations for food nearby. We just wish we'd have had longer to enjoy it and the local area.
