Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Hanover County

Our host, Tom, accommodated our family with a last minute request that was outside the typical stay parameters after another host had to do a last minute cancel on us for an unforeseen circumstance. He was the nicest host we've ever had! The home was very spacious, comfortable, spotless and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, paper supplies and all our cooking needs. Beds had soft, comfortable bedding. Bathrooms stocked with soaps, shampoos and plenty of towels. We truly just had to bring ourselves and the food/drink to enjoy a wonderful family Christmas stay. I highly recommend this AirBnb and we will definitely stay with this host again whenever we are in the area. Thank you!

This was our second stay at this house. The location is great, the house is very comfortable, and Catherine is extremely responsive to any questions. Overall we had a great weekend and would seek this house out if returning to Richmond!

This was a great Air BnB, everything you could want. Accurate description, clean and recently remodeled, responsive and flexible hosts. Enough room to hold 5 adults comfortably. Jared was great to work with. Always responds quickly and gave us options and updates on check-in day. The location of the house was perfect for what we needed to do and reach in Glen Allen. The neighborhood is very quiet and easy to get in and out of. The house has a huge back yard and the screened-in deck was a nice surprise for the perfect Virginia weekend. Highly recommend.

This is the second time we’ve stayed atThe Hermitage on the Hill and highly recommend it. Jennie has created a peaceful, retreat-like setting with many rooms to sit, relax and enjoy the view. It is spotless and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well appointed and Jennie provides scones and croissants for breakfast. In addition she is extremely responsive and pleasant. She has exceeded our expectations again.

The property was very welcoming and perfectly cleaned. The house was furnished with everything we needed for a weekend with friends. Kitchen had all of the needed equipment and tools. There were more than enough linens for us all. The supplied toiletries and kitchen products were much appreciated. We appreciated the thought that went into setting up this home for guests. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The next door neighbors were friendly as were their dogs. It’s hard to believe a home this clean is pet friendly, but we were appreciative to be able to bring our pets along for the trip. The owner communicated to us well in advance all of the instructions needed to access the home, door locks and WiFi. We would definitely stay here again!

Sean was an amazing host! I was in town for a family medical emergency and having a place that felt like a home was very soothing. The house is beautiful, the neighborhood is lovely, just everything about it gave me some peace during a rough time. Sean was so helpful and responsive. Highly recommend his place!

The place is a nice and safe. The complex is classy and safe. The host are great people and fast to respond.

The apartment/condo is just as described. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of pots/pans and everything else I use in my kitchen. That was a treat. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The home was quiet and easy to come and go from. There is an electric fireplace in the master bedroom which made the room so warm and cozy. The parking was perfect, right outside the door and we never had a problem getting a spot. Chandra’s communication was punctual and very helpful. Our stay was over the Christmas holiday and it was so festive as she had a beautiful little Christmas tree with lights and ornaments and a wreath on the door; it made our Christmas feel more like home since we had to travel. The place was wonderful and highly recommend to other guests.

Matt was a great host, he was very proactive in sending us check-in instructions and super responsive. We thought we would get in super late so he provided his personal number just in case we had issues checking in at a late hour—luckily we did not get there as late as we thought so we didn’t have to bother him. The space was super clean and the bed/pillows were very comfortable. There was also tons of closet space, which is always a plus. Highly recommend staying here!

It was a wonderful experience staying at Mary‘s place. When we walked in the place was immaculate cite with sweet touches. I would definitely recommend Mary’s place to anybody. I cannot wait to go back in the spring or summer.

I stayed at Johnny's place for a month while I was relocating to Richmond, and it was exactly what I needed. It was a great location, especially since the commute to downtown was so easy. As an extended stay, he provided all of the amenities I needed and was very responsive whenever I needed anything. I highly recommend this place!

This stay was great. The home was clean and kept up. The owner met me there to help do a walk through even though I had the code for the door, just to make sure I was set up alright. Very smooth process and things were very calm in the area. I would definitely stay there again if I work in the area again.

My grown daughter and I went for a mother-daughter weekend and we totally enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Our rooms were warm, clean, inviting, and spacious. We had a wonderful visit and felt well looked after.
