Had a 3 night stay at Grahams place over an absolutely beautifully sunny few days. Everything was perfect, exactly as described and afforded us some time to relax in the peaceful, picturesque surroundings away from the hustle and bustle. Graham was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend.

Of 60 or so places we have stayed at Airbnb, this has been the best Airbnb experience we’ve had! Given that this is a special trip (our honeymoon, which we had not mentioned before showing up) we feel very fortunate indeed! Stewart was an absolutely phenomenal host. So thoughtful and kind. But not imposing or ‘ever present’; just enough for a nice chat when we bump into one another out in the garden, and for some wonderful home-baked treats :) Stewart’s advice about getting last-minute tickets to Maeshowe (just a few minutes down the lane) was spot on and was the only reason we were able to visit. The place is really relaxed and quiet, a place to really unwind. It is a perfect base for exploring these wonderful islands, centrally located with all that’s needed just a 10 minute drive or a short bike ride away. We will certainly be back for an anniversary, as this place holds a special place in our hearts.

Excellent host. Great place to stay. Exceeded our expectations. Found Fletts in Stromness for fresh fruit & veg. Steak pie was the best we have ever had.

Lovely setting. Despite being on a busy main road we did not feel this disturbed our peace, slept well on comfy beds. Great for walking to Stones of Stenness and Ring of Brodgar. Also for Maeshowe. There are limited footpaths but walking on the road felt safe as all vehicles gave room to us. Bus services were good and on the whole on time - a day pass was good value Only problem was that we had not brought food (no vehicle ) so on arrival had hoped to eat at hotel nearby, unfortunately they did not serve food. Fortunately there was a very welcome welcome pack from Kayleigh which was much appreciated
