It used to be an old hop pickers mobile home but has been lovingly restored to a modern, well presented “mini” haven. A fully self-contained cabin with open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area, UK king size bed in bedroom and a shower room and toilet. Ideal for a couple or two singles as a Z-bed can be provided. The Staying Inn

The Staying Inn is a stand-alone Shepards hut set in the woodland of the south east. In the beautiful countryside, just outside rye and a stones throw from the coast of East Kent including camber sands. The space includes, a double mezzanine bed, fully equipped kitchen, log burner, shower room and decking, and lots of other quirky features. 5 mins car/taxi ride from rye Station, 15mins drive to camber sands ,and only 56 mins train ride from St Pancras station London to rye on the high speed.

The Stables - A Haven for Woodland Wildlife

Set on the edge of woodland our converted mini stable is a small secluded retreat set at the rear of the big barn on our smallholding. You may see badgers, foxes, horses in the next field, while birds and bees nest in the roof spaces outside the building. The view from the Stables and your own private decking looks onto woodland. Our smallholding has 9 pet sheep. Your own BBQ and fire pit in the meadow. And the option of booking a Massage treatment, yoga or Sound Bath in the Yurt.

Old Smock Mill is a romantic place for couples. The atmosphere inside is peaceful and relaxing. Everything is designed to unwind you from the moment you walk in. The Hopper Hut originally served as temporary accommodation for hop pickers. It used to house up to four families from London on their working holidays. Today, following extensive restoration, the unique square building welcomes visitors once again. The Stable Cottage is a delightful one bedroom cottage overlooking The Brede Valley to Winchelsea and the sea. Set on a working arable and sheep farm. Adjacent to the Woolroom Cottage and a term time only Nursery. Guests can enjoy lots of walks on the farm, plentiful bird life, including barn owls. The property is close to the historic town of Rye, Camber sands beach, Winchelsea beach, Battle Abbey and Bodiam Castle.
