Robert was a fantastic host. The place was very cozy and peaceful and was everything needed for a wonderful getaway from the rustle and bustle of everyday life. To top it off, my girlfriend and I got ourselves stuck and he helped dig and push our car put and was even willing to help tow us out if it came to that. He went above and beyond anything I’d expect from a host. And I highly recommend staying at one of his locations if you want a great place to stay and a host who has your back. We’ll definitely be back!

A Perfect Valentine’s Getaway on Lake Superior I can’t say enough about this incredible cabin on Lake Superior—it was everything I hoped for and more! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully designed to create the perfect escape. The cabin itself was stunning, with warm, inviting decor and high-end finishing touches that made it feel both luxurious and cozy. The fireplace, soft lighting, and plush furnishings set the perfect mood for a romantic getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to prepare a special meal without missing a thing. The highlight, of course, was the hot tub overlooking the lake. Listening to the icy waves crash while soaking in the warmth was absolutely magical, especially under the stars. It was the perfect place to unwind. Beyond the incredible amenities, the location was unbeatable—private, peaceful, and with breathtaking views of Lake Superior.

What a fabulous spot in the heart of Port Arthur. Walkable to many favourite spots. Extremely responsive host. Well stocked kitchen which is always helpful. The sauna is such a treat on those cold Thunder Bay nights. Quiet spot but close to it all!

Jolantas suite was just what was needed after a long drive. Perfect location for those looking to be close to HWY near Thunder Bay. A beautiful big bed to rest and a wonderful rainfall shower to freshen up

That was my first cabin experience and I want to keep going there. I don´t think I can find any other host who will be better that Alex. He treats you well and is always available with answers. I totally recommend staying on this cabin, its totally worth what you paid for it. I will definetly go back again soon. Thank you Alex for letting me stay there and enjoy the best view I can ask for.

Great, quiet, and remote cabin – perfect for a peaceful getaway while we were in area to fish on a lake nearby. Unfortunately, we had to leave early due to a family emergency, so we didn’t get to fully enjoy our stay. The hosts were very kind and responsive throughout. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, and I'm sure it's even more enjoyable in the summer when you can make the most of the outdoor space.

If you want a quiet, private get away this place is for you. It is right on Lake Superior, with beautiful sunrises (weather permitting). There are some neighbors, but the tree cover hides everyone from each other. You will drive on dirt roads to get there and it is relatively removed from Thunder Bay, so bring your own food etc. The place has a fire pit outside, fire place inside, and sauna making it for a wonderful get away to unwind and relax (the beach is rocky, but not sharp rocks). If you are into the outdoors and hiking Sleeping Giant Provincial Park is about 35 - 40 minute drive down the peninsula. Due to the secluded nature of the home there will be some flies and moths getting in. There is good air flow and the place is clean, so they die pretty quickly. There is an exterior camera by the front door for owners security, but besides that totally private. I would highly recommend at this price point!

We loved spending Thanksgiving weekend on the Lake! the cosy cabin with the warm fireplace was the perfect place to celebrate as a family. Plus have a few great saunas! Thanks for having us!
