Monthly Rentals in Helvellyn

A beautiful location, very peaceful. The main hall is an adventure centre, but there were no problems in respect of disturbing our stay, noise levels were minimal to none. The enclosed (very large) rear garden is fantastic for those with pooches with them, this creates a stress free way to let them wander and play. The grounds are wonderful, with a lovely woodland walk by the stream. Not forgetting the beauty of Ullswater and all of its walks and activities close to hand. We had a great time here and have already said we will return.

Great place to hike Blencathra from and close to Keswick and Glenridding for other activities.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights at Crook a Beck Barn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property. It is well equipped, with a great kitchen, plenty of wardrobe space and a large walk in shower alongside a large bath. It is in a peaceful setting with beautiful views and has all levels of walks available straight from the property. We enjoyed the extras especially the lemon drizzle cake made by Judith. We will definitely books this property again on our next visit to Patterdale.

Hazel and Ian have thought of everything you could possibly need in the lodge. A very friendly welcome and goodbye and I appreciated the quick replies to messages and local suggestions. I hope to be back to stay soon!
