Enjoy the many sports available surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, open water swimming, golf, cycling or build a sandcastle . Newcastle is a 25 minute metro ride away & the apartment is easily in walking distance from both train stations.

Our home from home is cosy but with lots of living space for all to spread out. Ideally situated an easy walk to the fells above but a short drive to Bowness, the best of both worlds. We love the secluded garden in summer, the sunny conservatory and open fire. Quality furnishings, towels and linens. Well equipped kitchen. Private parking 2 cars. 3 bedrooms. Max 6 incl. infants. One week min. Fri to Fri in summer school hols however please ask if not suitable, sometimes we can accommodate.

Situated in the National Park and surrounded by fells such as Scafell Pike and Great Gable, Yewbarrow is in the heart of walking and climbing countryside. The cottage is close to the Cumbrian Coast with St Bees’ long sandy beach and RSPB nature reserve, the historic town of Whitehaven, Muncaster Castle and Ravenglass, with its narrow gauge steam railway which travels to Boot.
