Monthly Rentals in High Legh

We are a retired couple from Scotland with a wee collie. We were looking for a new “base” for extended trips to lymm as our son, who stays there, has just had a new baby. We can thoroughly recommend Little Gem cottage. It exceeded our expectations- very warm and homely, quiet but close to amenities. Cottage had lots of thoughtful and artistic quirks to the building itself, but also garden and lovely interior. Access to the garden was great for our dog, and we enjoyed local walks close by. There’s a local “cook” shop for those who know the frozen food company and we also enjoyed Sunday roast in the Crown close by. Ed and Cat were extremely helpful and easily available We would rate this within our best Airbnb experiences and will definitely be back!

Helen was very responsive, attentive and gave great recommendations for food. Check-in was easy and flexible. Property was clean and tidy, and had the amenities required and listed. Lovely garden, quiet area, only a short walk down to the town with many places to eat.

Carly and her family were wonderful hosts. Shepherds view was immaculate and was perfect for our weekend with our toddler son. He loved seeing the sheep and playing with the toys that were there. Carly and Paul also allowed our son to meet the sheep, feed them as well feed the chickens which he was so excited about! Cannot recommend this place enough, we will absolutely return!
