From opening the door for the first time it is clear that Ann takes great pride in her accommodation and wants her guests to feel welcomed and at home, when we arrived we found everything to be spotless, neatly appointed and fresh. The facilities were fantastic, beds really firm and comfortable making for a great nights sleep. Ann is extremely responsive and communicative, even ahead of our visit she was in touch a couple days before to check in with us and was as flexible as she could be on arrival time. We had one minor issue during the first night of the stay which was immediately resolved with Ann, who got back to us within minutes of us reaching out to her and went beyond expectations to restore parity even on an Easter Weekend. I would recommend this accommodation it is ideally placed for the Peak District, central Manchester and has a host of local activities and amenities nearby, whilst being in a quiet peaceful area of Romily meaning you can simply relax after a long day.

Great location for the Peak District! Lovely accommodation. Tony was incredibly responsive, gave good instructions on how to arrive and was helpful whenever I contacted him, you can tell a lot of thought has gone in to the space. The shower was lovely and powerful. Something that was really appreciated after the long walks. Bed was really comfortable and seemed much larger than a queen size bed, sheets were lovely and clean. Appreciated having a parking place so close to where we were staying. Views across to the reservoir were amazing, we took a walk across the road to it and they were lovely, beautiful nature walk along the reservoir just across the road. Peaks cavern only 40 minutes away and the b29 crash sight parking only a 15minute drive away. Would recommend this stay and will definitely be returning.

Me and my partner booked with Lauren for a new years get away with our new little dog rolo, we both don’t drink/ party and wanted to get out in the countryside for new years, could not of gone for a better option with Lauren’s place, we got to explore the peaks, eat delicious local food both from the butchers/ pubs etc, the house itself is so cosy, homely and inviting, you feel right at home and it gives you a refreshing break from the usual surroundings, Lauren herself was very helpful, lots of local recommendations for walks, food and just about anything you would want to know about! Highly recommend getting yourself a trip to this hidden gem

Lovely little cottage with everything you need. Some great walks straight out the door including seven falls waterfall which was lovely in the sun. Road was a little loud but that can’t be helped and didn’t have too much of an effect for us. Property was lovely and cosy (including a fire), and it was a lovely touch to have towels/blankets for our dog too as we don’t usually get these at airbnbs.
