The space
With stunning views of Central Algarve, Casa Vista Bonita has access to the very best of what the region has to offer: the sea, beaches, golf, attractions, cafés, restaurants and much more. Surrounded by orange groves, olive, almond and fig trees we are situated in a small village 45 minutes by car from Faro airport, and 45 minutes from Lagos in the west with Portugal's southern coast at our feet and and near the historic town of Silves. The property is beautifully presented and guests are welcome to use all of the facilities, including the outside loungers and shades, pool, jacuzzi, guest kitchen, barbecue etc. Your hosts are happy to recommend local entertainment and restaurants to help you make the most of your stay.

At Casa Vista Bonita, we offer peace and quiet – the chance to enjoy a quality break - swimming in the pool or relaxing in the Jacuzzi, walks in the surrounding landscape, food and shelter. We offer double rooms each with an en suite bathroom. A barbecue and a separate dining area can be found near the kitchen, and we house a well equipped guests kitchen, with a separate fridge for each guest room, where you can prepare your breakfast and, should you wish, cook your own meals.
The spacious pool area is always open to bathe either in the pool or jacuzzi and there are sun-loungers around the poolside to enjoy life in the sun or in the shade.
Next to our patio, indoors, we have our bar and dining room. In the bar we often finish off the day with a nightcap and a game of darts. Above is a big screen TV and video room.
You can play boles in our own orange grove, taking a break to picking and eating oranges and mandarins when in season.

Other things to note
Casa Vista Bonita is situated in the municipality of Silves close to the historic town of Silves and to the typical Portuguese town of São Bartolomeu de Messines. The historic walking track “Via Algarviana” passes through both towns.

Where you’ll be

At Casa Vista Bonita we offer accommodation in a Portuguese village overlooking the central Algarve. We live on one of the first hills looking out, for miles. To get an even better view over the plains and nearby valleys, there is a short walk past the olive trees, above the guest-house to the top of the hill. From the bench placed at the summit we would recommend to enjoy a slice or two of local bread, cheese and a bottle of cold wine – you will know in moments that life is good. There are also many idyllic walks and jogging paths in the local surroundings. The local village café can be reached by a simple ten minute walk, there you can grab a coffee or refreshing drink and watch the people passing by. A big screen TV area can be found above the bar delivering television from around Europe, alongside a guest library, where you are welcome to exchange any books you have finished for those you have not read.
