Vacation rentals with a firepit in Houghton

Our family of four stayed here for a weekend of skiing at Mt. Bohemia. The suite was clean, comfortable, and very well appointed. I forgot to bring my favorite coffee and was delighted to find that there was some excellent coffee on hand from a local roaster! I the view of Lake Superior was amazing. Would definitely come back!

Amazing place to stay! This was our second time staying and it never disappoints. We will definitely return in the future!

The accommodations were as described. The place was very well kept and clean. The large room upstairs over looking Portage Lake is beautiful. I would highly recommend. Hope to return next year

We love this little place. Just like our cabin in the woods. Close enough but not downtown. Clean but just comfortably rustic. Enjoyed our stay for the 4th year in a row. It bring us back to a more simple time!

Our group of 10 guys had ample room for our snowmobile trip. Lots of parking, trail access directly across the street, and a very clean place. Absolutely perfect! Thank you for letting us enjoy your place.

I loved her cozy Airbnb! Felt like I was home 🏡 but a lot colder and way more snow 😊. Very very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals which is not always the case. PLENTY of sleeping room. It was just my daughter and I but wanted to check it out for the summer time and I will try to rent it again for then. Cheryl was super sweet and kind. We had an issue but she was very quick to respond and fix the situation. GREAT host! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

Alexa’s house was wonderful. The location was perfect. We were snowboarding at Mount Bohemia and loved having an easy 30 min drive to the mountain while being within minutes of restaurants and a grocery and hardware store (which was needed for a boot repair job). I have stayed in a handful of houses in the area and this was by far the most spacious and had plenty of comfortable seating for the 3 of us. Heat was great and I appreciated the fact I didn’t hear a single squeaky floor board. Initially I was slightly concerned that there wasn’t a dryer for wet gear, but the house has plenty of space to hang and store gear and Alexa provided a fan that did the job perfectly! Overall the house was great and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We will be back.

The Harbor Retreat is an awesome place to stay in Copper Harbor. Clean, quiet, walking distance to groceries and mtb trailheads are easy to get to. Paul and Jill are great hosts and are readily available. AND, spectacular late fall colors. The couple that stayed with me absolutely loved the place. Judy could not make it but she and I hope to be at the harbor house next year.

We had a great stay at the Cedar Cabin! Everything was just as shown in the photos, but somehow even cuter and more homey. They’ve done a wonderful job of curating the space and I’m excited to see what comes next for the property. We’ll definitely be back with our puppies next time!

Although this was a very short visit, because our hosts were so responsive and provided valuable information about sightseeing in the area, we were able to maximize our time to devote to the areas we most valued to explore. Tom went out of his way to provide kindling for the fire when we arrived, so that was a totally special feature of this cabin. The back yard was very dark so we could see the Northern Lights the last night of our stay.

Kelly’s place was perfect for a winter visit! It’s about 20 minutes from Mt Bohemia and right across the street from Eagle Harbor Inn, where we enjoyed a meal. The house is spacious and bright, but also cozy. There are great xc ski trails about a mile down the road. The house is very well built, clean, and the beds were comfortable. Kelly was quick to respond when I had a question. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

JoLynn was a super host! She was flexible and kind. We loved the chalkboard wall, the cozy cabin feel, and the fully stocked kitchen. Would certainly stay again and recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice place away from home.

This cabin is was super clean. Only about 3 miles from the snowmobile trails. We rode To Mt Arron, Big Bay, Houghton/Hancock, Marquette , and Lake of the Clouds. Awesome 800 miles. Super cool place! Grooming is the best in this area.

Such a cool spot and Travis was super helpful with explaining some directions and giving us a heads up on snow removal. Had a blast enjoying the winter solace in CH and just a short trip for us to Boho. Many thanks! Can't wait to head up again.
