“Full disclosure: We are new to AirBnB and didn’t really know what to expect. Dealing with finding the right property for our family and communication through an app we were really apprehensive. We had no idea what we were in for. We did our research and our homework and were actually pleasantly surprised by our first experience which turned out very positive. Queue up this Beautiful Lake Travis Waterfront Retreat! We were blown away by how gorgeous this chic modern lake house is in person. You walk in and right away notice this is not the lake house your parents took you to when you were a kid, remember that “A Frame”? You enter on the middle floor into where the living, kitchen, and dining area are located. We were blown away! The floors are hardwood, the counters are marble, the appliances are all stainless steel and new. There is even two coffee makers, a Kureg and regular coffee pot. A long beautiful wood dining table with a wood bar table off to its side was great for the family. On the lower level is an area great for kids of all ages. Our kids just loved it. With two bunks that can sleep 5 kids very comfortably, a private full bath, and a living area with plenty of space and plush couches. There is even a separate thermostat to control the air in this area to keep the kiddos comfortable year round. Upstairs is what we would call the adult living quarters. Three bedrooms all with soft king beds. One master suite full bathroom and one hallway full bath was plenty for us. Oh, and by the way, the view is to die for! From the living room, with the giant sliding door wide open(because you can), you get a beautiful view of Lake Travis with a cool breeze right off the lake. The gentle sounds of nature right from the comfort of the living room reminds you you are sitting on two private acres of pure bliss. Priceless! When we return we plan to make the most of the private boat dock that sits on Lake Travis at the end of the property, just follow the nature trail. Kim was responsive and even had a nice list of restaurants and entertainment nearby for us to check out. She was great to work with and made our time here an experience we will never forget. “We found the home to be better than described! There were so many extra amenities such as two wine fridges, a coffee pot and a keurig, multiple seating areas, extra tables for our large group and more. We were able to cook large group dinners in the big kitchen and on the grill. We loved the hot tub and having so many spaces for our group of ten to hang out. More than enough space for us all to be together, or to get space apart if needed. Mike was a very responsive host and helped with recommendations during our planning. HEB is only ten minutes away and has all groceries you would need and more! We would love to come back in the summer! We were not able to use the pool as we visited for New Years Eve week, but the outdoor area is gorgeous. Definitely recommend for spring and summer to use the pool and to have some fun on the lake. Great for a large group, but would caution it is closer to 45 minutes to areas such as Rainey St and Sixth St. if the group is hoping to visit these areas, plan for longer Lyft rides or to rent a car! We did a combo and never had issues getting a Lyft when needed. Thanks for a great stay!”

“We absolutely loved our stay at Kim's place!!! Our most favorite part was definitely the beautiful views from the house!! The house was perfect for me and my husband. Everything was updated and decorated very nicely! The shower was awesome!! The house was sparkling clean and had everything we needed to accommodate us during our stay. Kim and George were so nice and helpful...we were really glad they were so close by since we weren't too familiar with the area. They helped us with our boat and gave us lots of good ideas for eating out and where to hang out on the lake! If you're looking for somewhere to relax, recharge and have a beautiful view with instant access to beautiful lake Travis, you can't go wrong here at Kim's place!!”
