“This camper is located at a beautiful spot at Lake Conroe. We especially enjoyed the covered seating at the water for dinners and drinks. It had daylong shade and made a perfect spot to fish with my two boys. We caught catfish, a bass and a crappy. The camper has nice seating outside under a shaded pergola, has a gas BBQ and a firepit. All those things give a real camping experience. We had our own canoe, but there are nice kayaks which you can rent. It is a short paddling trip to a (very) small Island with a fun sandy beach. The camper itself is spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids. The camper is kept very clean on the inside. Also the kichenware was all nice and clean. Communication with the host was friendly and I would certainly consider returning later during fall.”

Formerly our “shabby chic” room. I love to rearrange furniture and this room now has all solid oak (my favorite!) mission style furniture with the same comfortable queen bed. Some closet storage as well as dresser and night tables. Blocks from Lake Conroe. Five minute driving to old town Montgomery, and other area shopping. We are close to several wedding venues and the majority of our weekend guests are here for weddings!
“This is a great stay if you need something inexpensive and don't need a lot of space. Very clean, quiet and private. The bathroom is shared with other guests, but wasn't a big deal for me. Great value.”
