We felt right at home here. The place was squeaky clean, has comfy beds, a nice shower and the kitchen is well quipped. The surroundings are tranquil and quiet. Sue is a very nice host and gave clear directions to find the place and check in.

We love this place. We’ve been before and will definitely be back. The cottage itself is beautiful and quiet, exactly what we needed. It is very handy, in walking distance from several cafes, pubs and restaurants. Rachel is very responsive and helpful. Lovely touches of bread, butter, milk and marmalade, on arrival.

Our second stay here and even better than the first time. We got to explore more of the surrounding area and it’s honestly a wee slice of paradise. So peaceful, lovely walks, the Beehive is super cozy and Lucy is responsive and friendly. Just a perfect place to relax and decompress.

Fantastic accommodation in a great North Yorkshire location, just off the A19, so easy links to York and Newcastle. Well presented with everything you need, modern yet homely. Great hosts would stay again.
