The house is set off the main road with views overlooking the Slaney River and the quaint white cottages built in 1876 for the railway workers. The property has a spacious and unusual garden which can be availed of weather permitting. The interior is fresh light and very tidy. The town, with its harbour, cafés, bars and restaurants is only a stone's throw away.
“Elaine was a interesting host with a European outlook. House was a bit chilly for me but the bedroom had its own heat and there was a heater in the bathroom that needed 15 minutes to get to a good temperature to take a shower. Great value for money.”
