“Such a luxurious, stylish and cosy rustic barn surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens and spectacular views of the Hanging Rock! The furnishing/art pieces are gorgeous and the entire place makes you feel like you are in the European countryside. My husband & I loved all the thoughtful touches that made this farm stay unique and memorable - it will definitely impress those with an artistic nature and a love for vintage style accomodation. The fireplace was just stunning and Mary already had the fire ready for us when we arrived. We had the best time relaxing, talking and playing board games on the comfortable couch right in front of the fireplace. There are also stacks of books, magazines, DVDs to keep guests entertained on top of several trail walks for breathtaking views. The farm is a short drive from Hanging Rock, Woodend, Kyneton and is the perfect base for exploring Macedon ranges. Mary and Roy were super friendly and we enjoyed a great conversation with Roy about his projects around the property. *The Internet works fine around the property but make sure you have a brief idea of how to get to Cedar Farm as reception can break off on the way there.”

“My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Luke and Fran's place. Fran provided us with lots of local knowledge around what to do and where to eat on arrival and it kept us very busy. The studio and surroundings are beautiful, the photos do not do it justice! The studio was equipped with everything that you could possibly need and the facilities were excellent. We were a big fan of the outdoor bath, it was very relaxing and such a tranquil experience. Lots of fire wood is provided to keep the cabin warm and cosy as well as a big variety of teas, snacks, games and books. You can access walking trails up Mt Macedon from the property and all the sights are a short drive away. We can't wait to stay again.”

“The cabin was clean and cosy with lots of homey touches. There was lots of cooking equipment and basics like oil and salt. The fire was easy to use and the place was very warm the whole time. The cabin is a close drive to the mount towrong bush walk which was lovey. Suzanne was a lovely host!”
