Lovely cottage garden was very dog friendly. Beautiful village with lots of amenities. Great dog walks, Roseberry topping a great challenge!Everything you need on your doorstep and great place to visit the lovely beaches. Would definitely recommend.

What an amazing little place - the perfect example of a cosy cottage. Everything you need is within a few minutes walking distance (which surprised us!). Matt and Jess were the perfect hosts. We were very pleasantly surprised on arrival when seeing the water, treats and toys for the dogs, and the goodie basket with snacks, tea, coffee and bread. Even better opening the fridge and seeing the milk there. In short, a perfect getaway and would love to come and visit again!

A lovely couple of days in this ideal spot. Extremely comfortable, warm, well equipped accommodation set in the centre of Great Ayton, one of my favourite places to escape to. John & Barbara are very helpful, friendly hosts. Thank you for the basket of goodies, especially the chocolate macaroons... yum!! I will certainly book again.

Nice and warm place to stay. Very nicely done out with underfloor heating. Made very good use of space - didn't feel small. Nice views. Would definitely recommend!
