There are walks from the doorstep across fields, through woods or on country roads. Easy access to the Yorkshire Dales, Bolton Abbey, Worth Valley Railway, Leeds/Liverpool canal, Haworth plus the scenic areas of Skipton and Malham. Local amenities are in Silsden, Addingham & Ilkley.
What guests are saying:“Juliet’s place is tucked away in the countryside yet close enough to the local village to not be completely isolated. The information pack in the living room is a very thoughtful touch and we sampled the local takeaway ‘Purple Garlic’ during our stay which did not disappoint. The space itself is compact but functional and it’s clear that it has been furnished to a high standard - particularly the bedlinens which were exquisite. We stayed with our 5 month old which was absolutely fine and the travel cot was a lovely touch. I would not recommend it for families with active babies due to the size of the space, but it is a lovely retreat for couples or those with younger ones. Juliet was really helpful throughout and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and her lovely loft to our friends and family!”

With a welcoming atmosphere and accessibility-friendly facilities, Jerusalem Farm Barn is a perfect place to enjoy the local nature reserve, which provides a safe haven for woodland birds, woodpeckers, herons and deer.

A rural retreat with commanding views. We are up at 1000ft on the back of Ilkley Moor looking south towards Haworth and Bronte country as well as being on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park with Bolton Abbey just 5 miles away. Although isolated, there are good local rail and bus links to Bradford and Leeds for those missing city life! The Shippon is ideal for that "get away from it all feeling" and for those who don't want all the amenities on their doorstep! Well behaved dogs welcome
