Monthly Rentals in Knitsley

We had a lovely weekend in this little gem of a place. Very easy to find and all major supermarkets a short drive away. No easy walking to a pub which was slightly disappointing. Superb walks at Derwent reservoir and hamsterley forest or from the accommodation itself. Very clean accommodation and not a sound from anything. Great place to unwind and relax. Very comfy bed and well equipped kitchen. We loved it and will return.

Lovely venue. Maybe a little cluttered, but was immaculately clean beneath that. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we slept like logs. We particularly enjoyed the games room - we brought our own board games which we enjoyed at the large 8 seater table but had an amazing time. Jeff was a great host, and had left a selection of fruit/chocolate out, as well as some fresh eggs which were much appreciated. There is a great public footpath besides the cottage which leads into a beautiful woodland area which is worth a walk too. Would highly recommend - especially for the price this was fantastic.

A great 3 night stay whilst visiting family in the local area. Room was clean and spacious bed was comfy and the room had all amenities we needed for a few days. En-suite clean with a nice large shower and plenty of hot water, The area was lovely and quiet, easy to get to, instructions were clear and parking easy. Great place set aside in nature. Andrew is a fantastic host that’s super responsive and friendly. Place matches the description and is well heated when cold.
