Vacation rentals with a kayak in Kvaløya

Oddgeir's house was a lucky find and an enrichment for our Arctic vacation. We spent a wonderful few days there with our 2 little children. Location: The secluded location on the fjord is fantastic and very quiet. Obviously perfect looking at the aurora, although we were unfortunately not lucky because of the clouds. House: The house was very clean, the amenities optimal. Underfloor heating and fireplace - simply cozy. Communication: Could not have been better. 2 examples. 1) My husband and son arrived alone because my daughter was sick and we couldn't fly to Tromsø until later. Oddgeir then offered us to stay one night longer at no additional cost. 2) when our car got stuck in the snow, he organized a tractor within 20 minutes that pulled us out. Oddgeir insisted that we feel at home - we have! Highly recommend.

We loved this home! It was conveniently located and much bigger than I expected. There are 2 bedrooms - perfect for a family. Home was clean and offered a large living area, porch, large tv, and huge windows to admire the mountains. Parking available right out front. The roads leading up to the home were always salted and easy to drive. Full kitchen and washer/dryer available. I wish we would have stayed long just so we could have relaxed in the home - that’s how nice it was! Overall I highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.

We had a wonderful week at this house in Tromsö. Twice we were lucky to watch the northern lights from the roof terrace. It’s also only 2 min to the end of the road and the forrest where the aurora was even more beautiful to see. The view from the sofa down to Tromsö was amazing. The house had everything we could have wished for, even a sauna. Margrethe was a great host, offered lots of advice on local tours and welcomed us with little surprises on the table. I hope we can manage to come back one day.

What a fantastic time I had at this Airbnb. The location is nothing short of magical, a true winter wonderland. Private, silent and beautiful. Spending the nights standing in the snow illuminated by the waxing moon with stunning Aurora displays above all 4 nights. If you're looking to explore Senja this is the place to stay. Tommy is an incredibly kind person and it was a pleasure meeting and chatting with him. He shared my passion for nature and the Aurora and he puts a lot of care into your stay. This is a place to leave everything behind, get outside and get back to nature. A true arctic experience to be plowing snow from the driveway, collecting firewood and standing in the middle of snowstorms. I can't wait to visit again.

The house is huge and very expansive, the host is very quick to respond, recommended to stay It is divided into two floors, the first floor is the living room, and the oversized living room And the surrounding scenery is superb, unfortunately, the cloud layer was large and I didn't see the aurora. Otherwise, it's even more perfect!

Very pleasant stay, the accommodation totally matched our expectation to go skiing nearby. Nice and functional accommodation. Very nice view on the fjord with a beautiful indoor barbecue.

Everything super! For skiing the real mountains of lyngen - there is no better place! Wood fired Sauna and hot tube, what can ask more!
