“Truly a Derbyshire gem! Perfect location for anyone wanting to walk or even just hide away from the business of life. It’s a beautiful flat with comfy features and plenty of local pubs. Caroline and Morgan have left a brilliant local tips book so you know where to go etc. Really worth a stay!”

Old Post Office Row Cottage is an attractive, mid terrace, stone-built Derbyshire cottage in the popular Peak District village of Bamford. Boasting a wonderful, enclosed, rear courtyard garden and a wood burner pride of place in the gritstone fireplace, our cottage is the perfect choice for walkers, families or cyclists for year round breaks.
“All the reviews are right. This is a lovely cottage and as described. There was a thoughtful touch for our stay just before Christmas with a fully prepared Christmas Tree with lights and a garland over the fireplace. We left on Christmas Eve but wish we were staying longer! We would thoroughly recommend the cottage and Bamford which is an excellent base for the Hope Valley. We had a great meal at The Yorkshire Bridge Inn which is about half a mile away - you might want to consider walking - the portions are huge! :-)”
