Waterfront vacation rentals in Lake Arenal

The view over the lake arenal is just phenomenal! The house has a huge garden with some fruits, herbs & vegetables wich we were allowed to eat. We can for sure recommend.

There are amazing surroundings at this place. We saw parrots in the trees next to the house, toucans and monkeys. The lake is very big and the home is roomy.

What a perfect house! The vibe of the space, the view, the wildlife, and the walking trails were amazing! We saw Capuchin monkeys, iguanas, coatis, macaws, and lots of blue morphos all around the house! We even found a scorpion in the bathroom, but that's part of life in a tropical zone. The walking trails around the property were a source of wonder and wildlife as well, definitely make sure to use them while you're here! The deck and patio were very nice and secluded spaces, and the interior spaces felt open, gorgeous, and cozy. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked and nice to use, though the microwave didn't seem to want to work. If you're used to auto-igniting ovens, this one may throw you for a loop. Be careful to not make it explode! (Some instructions for those from the US and Canada might be useful here.) The shower unfortunately didn't really get warm, perhaps lower water pressure into the electric heater would help this. I'll be sure to stay here again if it's available!

The villa was just like the pictures. We could appreciate the Volcan from it, as well as a great variety of birds. The kitchen is super equipped with top quality items, nothing was missing. Brooke was responding right away. He is friendly and attentive. We definitely recommend your place.

We enjoyed a very comfortable home in a beautiful place. We did a boat tour on the lake and another on horseback on the mountain. We only stayed one night but wanted to make the most of it. I recommend staying more nights because there is so much in the area to enjoy.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay in La Tigra! The home is very private at the dead end of a road in a "locals only" area. The gardens are large and beautiful with lots of see and the sounds of the rushing river and birds. The house accommodated us well spatially though there were a couple maintenance issues - dishwasher out of order upon arrival and one of the 3 bathrooms had a stinky septic issue and was unusable during our stay. Our stay was especially memorable because of all of the time we spent with Giovanni and his lovely family at Guapote lodge, just across the river bridge. We ate all of our meals there and they made us feel like family. Also highly recommend Proyecto Asis, a nearby animal sanctuary. Would absolutely return to the area!

Xinia's home worked well for our family of 6. Plenty of beds, fun outdoor activities, lots of natural wildlife surrounding the home. The home was about 20-25 minutes outside of La Fortuna with a good stretch of road being stone which definitely slows your car down a bit, but nothing our mid size SUV couldn't handle. Aside from some minor issues that Xinia was very responsive on resolving, the home fulfilled our need of a place to relax and sleep after a long day of fun in La Fortuna!

My husband and I really enjoyed the cabin especially the cows that was roaming around at night that gave us a little surprise. Andres was always responsive and very accommodating . Enjoyed sitting out, drinking our coffee, looking at the beautiful lake and enjoying the peacefulness around us .
