Dacha is the Russian word for holiday house. It is a place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life and rejuvenate your body and spirit. Dacha is also a place to reconnect with friends and family and share quality time with those you love
“This trip is one of the best trip of our family’s experience with Airbnb. Flower and champagne on arrival, Valek’s exceptional hospitality service made this very memorable. During corona virus, we as a small family went on this small self isolation trip to rejuvenate and rest. Thanks to the great location, we wake up with beautiful sunrise everyday shining above the lake and seeing this great view. Both of my boys loved the big back yard, there was huge space for them to run around, even a little garden to play hide and seek. My husband, the kids and I used the jacuzzi 3 times a day, enjoyed it to the max! Everything are so cleaned and tidy when we arrive the house, Valek touched base with us everyday and always be there when we have questions or problem (sometimes even pass 9pm) sincerely appreciated his patience. Hopefully Valek can get through this corona virus situation smoothly, hope that we won’t be the last to enjoy this wonderful property! Looking forward to stay there again once the lock down is lifted.”

“We had a wonderful holiday at this place! The food provided were all good quality, organic or from local farmer etc, kitchenware are all clean and the big chopping table is very comfortable to use. One of the highlights is the fireplace! It was stuffed with newspaper and wood, we love the fire expecially when it is getting colder during the night. We also love the garden, the landlady has such a lovely garden in front and back yard. There was a rose tree jut next to the kitchen window which cheered us up when cooking. The rooms are pretty large to sleep in. Me and my son were staying at the room with some spare space in the ground floor. Other rooms are very large too.we all felt very welcoming and accommodating.”
Bidwell is a peaceful country retreat in the heart of Daylesford, set privately at the back of a leafy garden allotment on a quiet no-through-road that leads down to Lake Daylesford. It is very close to the famous Amazing Mill Markets antiques emporium, and within walking distance of both the Lake and Daylesford’s main street with its shops, restaurants and cafes.
“Bidwell is a great place to stay, near the lake and the central springs but also easy walking distance to the main street. The Mill markets are super close and you could spend a day there easily, including at the great cafe. The cottage is cute and cosy with a lovely wood burning stove, games, music and lots of information on the local area. We especially liked the local walks leaflets! Thank you Anthony and Andrew for a great time.”
