The living room contains a "truth window" - a section where we left the original German fachwerk exposed for those who admire old homes to see some of the original settlers' handiwork. This property is right downtown - restaurants and bars are walking distance from the house. Also close to Schlitterbahn, the Comal river, and The Float In.

Although Texas' oldest dance hall is only a five-minute drive and one right turn away, the area feels peaceful and secluded. Just outside of the city enjoy a quiet escape in your own charming farmhouse with access to Lake Dunlap/Guadalupe River. Located 4.7 miles from downtown New Braunfels (10 min. traffic permitting), 6 miles to Schlitterbahn, Landa Park, and floating area of the Comal River downtown. 8 miles to Gruene. For those coming in for work, the property is 2 miles to the New Braunfels airport, 5.2 miles from the hospital, and within 10 miles to most of the New Braunfels Schools.

River Roost is a family vacation spot on the lake that sleeps 6. It is 3 miles off Interstate 35, located in a quiet neighborhood with access to 50 feet of waterfront. It is a quick trip to downtown New Braunfels with features such as Schlitterbahn waterpark, tubing, antique and grocery stores, department stores, and a great selection of restaurants. A guest binder is provided with information about the area and surrounding communities.

Why stay in a hotel when you can have all the comforts of home plus a river view. ACCESS THE COMAL RIVER DIRECTLY FROM THE PROPERTY 550 square feet. Balcony has a river view. You will be on the 3rd floor with elevator access. You will have access to the pool, hot tub, picnic tables and bbq pits. There is an on site washer and dryer available for a fee. Common space has a couch bed and bunk beds, the bedroom has a king size bed.

Our cozy 1,000 sq. ft. guest house is located on an acre of land on Lake Dunlap in New Braunfels. We are 4 miles from downtown New Braunfels, and 5 miles from Gruene. Our main residence is on the same property, but you will enjoy your own space; the only thing we share is the main driveway into the property. This is a waterfront property-Guests agree to read, understand and adhere to the Liability Waiver in the house rules.
