The overall experience we had was more enjoyable than we could have expected all you have to bring is your food and your beverages everything else is provided everything is in good condition has a function and purpose the decor is spot on it’s a very open floor plan that makes the space feel a lot bigger than it is great for couples or couples with children my 10 and 7 year old daughters absolutely loved the loft it was like there mini tree house fort being up high above the rest of the cabin the privacy and seclusion of the cabin are perfect while also not being completely out in the middle of no where it is still close to all the places you would want to go during your stay highly recommend Ben and all of his properties for your future trips to the area

We were traveling for a swim meet competition for my son and the hosts were very flexible with allowing us an early check-in. Beautiful place and surroundings, great little playground for my young girls right outside the cabin.

The Chicken Coop was exactly what the girls and I were looking for to hold our annual mom’s weekend away. Plenty of space to spread out and relax, while being cozy and comfortable to just hang together to reconnect and cluck. The uniqueness of the home kept us engaged in hypothetical scavenger hunts, and the location was close to both shopping and good dining. We love the Brainerd Lakes area, and Steve & Jake offered us a pleasant, fun, cozy spot to visit and explore. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I had a great stay!! It was in a beautiful location. Great by getaway for some peace and quiet. Jessica was very quick at responding and was very friendly and helpful. She answered all my questions. There is nothing negative about this place I can say. I will definitely be staying there again!!! And again big thank you for the host!!!
