House vacation rentals in Lake Keowee

Well, my husband and I have stayed there on and off for the last six months for local work, so we know the place well. Sadly, our project has come to an end, so our most recent stay will be our last for work. BUT, we love everything about Todd and Barbie and the house, and we will be back for fun hiking weekends. Hiking, waterfalls, everything nearby. It's the best place we've stayed in the area. Private, squeaky clean, big deck, large dining room table for big meals or spreading out the paperwork, GREAT internet connection and TV options. We'll definitely be back on our own - we feel so comfortable there in every way. I could not recommend any higher - would give it a "10" if I could. Todd and Barbie also bent over backwards to help us with a couple of last-minute schedule changes. Such honest and thoughtful hosts. Thanks Todd and Barbie for EVERYTHING over the last few months. We love you guys!

Gorgeous mountain retreat is a perfect way to describe this property. I found everything in the description of this property to be true. In my opinion Karla’s description was very humble and we found the property to be much better than expected. Entire family celebrated my father’s 90th birthday, and found the house plenty spacious for all of us. With full living space on the main level and downstairs we never felt crowded.The house was immaculate and very well stocked with items that were above and beyond any other property I’ve ever stayed in right down to the firewood. Directions were easy to follow and communication was always done in a timely fashion. If you want to relax, do nothing, enjoy the views this is the place for you. If you want to be active, go hiking, play golf, tennis, etc. this is the place for you. If you want to grill out and watch football with the gang, this place is for you. So if you have a large group, and you are looking for a mountain getaway, I recommend that you stop looking and book this property NOW!!

Beautiful view and plenty of room for our family. Kerry responded quickly to my questions and gave clear directions. I’m glad she recommended to stay on paved roads since we arrived at night and alternate routes take you down gravel roads. Convenient location for our stay to enjoy snow tubing and amenities at the Sapphire Valley Community Center.

Once again, our family had a terrific stay on Lake Keowee in a beautiful spot! We always enjoy our time here and we so appreciate the lovely accommodations!

The lake house is beautiful. Very private and peaceful. The house looks even better than the photos. Our children loved the pool. We are already planning to return some time this summer. Thanks Ellen for being a great host.

We needed a place for our blended family to finally meet and have time together. One of the bedrooms had bunks which became the kids room. They loved it. They also loved the game room, playground and bathing in the heart shaped jacuzzi. The view is amazing, overlooking a pond with the mountains in the background. We had groups playing golf and tennis. It was too cold for the pool but I’m sure the kids would have been there if it was warm. There is a beautiful waterfall closer than I thought. There was plenty of room for everyone to dine and just be together. It is definitely a place we will keep in mind for future gatherings.

Keith was very responsive and helpful from the moment I booked the BNB for the weekend. Very simple process and the details and instructions were very clear and easy to understand. The house is beautiful in a great location with perfect sleeping arrangements for a group of 8-9. Highly recommended booking this location for your next trip to the lake

Mary Jo and Lina’s place was perfect for our family! It had so many kid friendly accommodations and was well kept and just a short walk to shops and restaurants! We loved our stay!

Can’t say enough great things about Sunset Point! Beautiful and Spotless inside, they thought of every detail. The livingroom had a large comfy couch and the beds and bedding top notch! Bonus- it is decorated so cute-LOVED the color coded beautiful bookcase! My son plays lacrosse at Anderson university, we were spending the week to catch a few of his games-I wanted a place that felt like vacation but also be able to cook some homemade meals. Sunset point exceeded my expectations! The kitchen had everything needed including a crockpot and the outdoor grill was a great addition! Outside we were able to enjoy the beautiful lake-the views and the sunsets stunning! Marvin has a shed fully stocked w beach chairs, cornhole, paddle boards, floats and there is also kayaks! They truly thought of everything. I am so glad to have found this gem.. don’t hesitate to book it-you’ll be so glad you did! I can’t wait to go back! It was a perfect little cottage! Everything was brand new. We loved the complementary gift basket. We enjoyed sitting on the private back deck and walking to the waterfalls. Will recommended great restaurants! We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Cashiers! Highly recommend!

Truly, truly a spectacular stay. such a peaceful, and perfect spot. we made use of everything. from watching movies and the news on their HUGE TV's kayaking in the kayaks, sitting on the screened in porch, cooking up breakfast and dinner each day in the well stocked kitchen, cleaning up in their pristine bathrooms with WONDERFUL shower amenities, and going to bed in their unbelievably comfortable beds and bedrooms. we even played games of pool and air hockey. you can't ask for more from a house with 2 full kitchens, a rec room basement, water amenities, ample parking and incredibly flexible, hospital e and responsive hosts. we even asked about adjusting the thermostat when it was too warm in the evenings for us, bc of some random setting that didn't let it drop below 74--and they fixed in immediately. definitely stay at this incredibly thought out Airbnb for a wonderful respite. you won't regret it.

We had a great time at this lake house. The double-layer dock is amazing and it is in a very beautiful and peaceful location. The home was very comfortable for our group of 8. Christy is a great host who offered excellent communication and was very friendly and helpful.

Worth every penny! Amazing million dollar view is correct! Wouldn’t change a thing about this place! It was 💯 perfect! On the Big Water you are away from city lights and we seen many shooting stars and the property is beautiful morning day and night.

This was a great rental! The place was clean and free of bugs. The kitchen had a great assortment of dishware and you could easily cook meals. Lots of room to enjoy the fantastic views.

The home and Tara were great! The space was perfect for our large family - the loft playroom in particular was wonderful for 7 kids to play in and allow the adults to still have a separate space where there was some relative calm. It is remote but still accessible to Cashiers, and we went on several excursions to nearby hikes and waterfalls. We very much enjoyed our holiday there.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with our family. Even with the rain we had a wonderful time. We loved the smaller cottage for us older folks. Some peace and quiet from the grands! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. We thoroughly enjoyed the large fireplace. So warm and cozy! The large Christmas tree and decorated mantle was a beautiful addition to the holiday spirit. Thank you again for sharing such a special place!

I’m thrilled we found Aunt Helen’s place in Walhalla, SC. Home is perfect for a long weekend with friends and family. You feel at home when you walk in and it’s a very comfortable stay. We spent a lot of time on the porch swing enjoying the perfect weather. Did some walking around Walhalla shopping and eating in local restaurants. Great place to visit we’ll be back. We’ll be back the host are wonderful!!

Very beautiful and peaceful home. Perfect for our mini surprise family reunion. The game room was a bonus and kept the kids occupied. The fire pit was also a great addition, who doesn't love s'mores! We absolutely loved it and will be coming back.

Linda and Keith were very hospitable. Gave suggestions for places to dine at and visit. The beds were comfortable the kitchen had everything you need. She even asked what kind of coffee we drink so that she would have upon are arrival. Anytime we texted her response was very prompt. I would highly recommend the shady rest to all that are visiting in the area. You’re close to so many water falls which are amazing.
