Lulu’s Louisiane Swamp Camp

Swamp Camp offers a unique peaceful retreat to nature enthusiasts in the heart of Louisiana swamp country. We are at the dead end of quiet one mile road called “Happywoods.” Our camp, up on piers, is situated in the wetlands along the Tickfaw River and adjoining Tickfaw State Park. We look out onto a wilderness sanctuary with turtles, alligator, beaver and otter along with a variety of water birds and among the characters. The camp is built centered on a 300 plus year old cypress tree.

Fleur De Lis Tea Farm: Pine Plantation

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located amid long-standing pines and on Louisiana's only tea farm. The perfect space for a get-away, this gorgeous cabin features bunk-beds, a twin bed and a separate queen bedroom. Sip your morning tea out on the pond under the gazebo as geese, ducks and turtles swim by or under the veranda covered in jasmine! The 1930's double is the entire second floor with private front and rear entrances, Living and dining room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bath, screened porch and laundry. Relax and enjoy a walk-able neighborhood after exploring the many activities of the city. I live downstairs and enjoy meeting our guests upon arrival. Restaurants, bars and markets are on St. Charles Avenue!

Small cottage with full kitchen. Small pets allowed 20lbs/9kg for a $20 per day charge. Guest must let me know about pet in advance as well as send a copy of rabies vaccination certificate for the animal. Pet Charges will be handled at check out after a walk through. Any damage charges will be handled through AirBnB.
