We have stayed here twice and loved it even more the second time! Patty and Bob really do think of everything you may need and are extremely helpful! Home was spotless, well equipped and comfortable. Sauna is an amazing perk of this place. Would highly recommend.

The cabin has a beautiful view of the lake!! It is furnished so warm and nicely it felt very homey. Diane has the cabin set up with everything we wanted to be able to relax or cook our own meals at the cabin. The location is perfect with only a few minutes drive to either Hayward or Cable. We really enjoyed our stay and will for sure be back!!

This visit marked our 4th stay over the past eleven months, which speaks volumes for our love for the particular property and for the great host, Suzanne. The accommodations are perfect and Suzanne is always thoughtful and a responsive host. The only negative item was that we had to finally leave from the Haakon House and return to the Twin Cities.

The cabin was beautiful, outdoor space was an oasis and the garage was put together so thoughtfully, allowing the family more space to unwind and play games together! The wood burning stove and sauna were the epitome of peace - and the 3 season porch was a wonderful area to read a book and enjoy the serenity of nature. The town was a little bit sleepy in April - not a whole lot open; which encouraged us to get out on the hiking trails and explore the National Forest. Overall this is one of our favorite places we have stayed at.
