Such a nice and peaceful location to unwind. Great views of the lake.

This is a quaint and cosy spot tucked away in the bush with birds, a small stream and loads of greenery to keep you company. Tom explained the set up really well and I can tell the cottage is a well loved place with lots of history and stories. The bird feeder on the deck was a great form of entertainment with tui and bell birds using it from dawn till dusk. Walking the tracks on the property gives you great views of the valley and surrounding hills and large patches of native bush made for some fun botanising. This is a quintessential kiwi family-owned place and such a vibe!

Really enjoyed the 2 nights stay on a rainy weekend. Had an issue with the TV and Rob was very quick to get back to us and even came to the silo to check the TV himself. Very helpful.
