Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lorraine

It was a non-standard house and that was a nice change: tastefully decorated and cozy. The garden had several seating areas (with sun and/or shade: depending on what you wanted) and also inside it was good to stay. Nice sofa, complete kitchen, nice shower & bathroom (2 even, but yes: you don't need it with 2 people). Lots of detail for the decor (color use) and details; cozy! The presence of a lot of leaflets with sights is also valuable! Very clever and nicely fixed!

Our stay at 17a Rue des Pins in Dabo was simply fantastic. From the time we arrived, we felt welcome and at home. The location is breathtaking – surrounded by nature, with stunning views over the hills and forests of the Vosges. The house itself is sparkling clean, nicely furnished and equipped with every comfort. Leo is incredibly friendly, helpful and always quick to respond. He left clear instructions in advance on how to get in. We enjoyed the tranquility, the space and the charm of this special place. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy comfort, nature and warm hospitality. We will definitely come back here!

stays 2 adults, 2 dogs. Atypical house, good location, very well-equipped, clean and quiet. Marie Paule and her husband are responsive, very friendly hosts. The house is peaceful, original, it feels like home, it lacks nothing, dishes, linen, equipment, (toys and materials for young children available). enclosed terrace and parking space. Recommended rental.

We immediately felt comfortable in the house. It was very clean, spacious, nicely decorated, it had toys for the kids and the garden is dog-proof fenced. The hosts were quickly reachable when needed and gave us helpful tips for things to do. Thank you for such a wonderful break!

Pleasant house in a small village, well equipped and well heated. The place is very pretty and the snow at Christmas allowed us to enjoy several places for tobogganing, snowshoeing and skiing. The refueling is very good in a large area three km away, there are several places towards La Besse and Gerardmer less than half an hour away for hiking and tobogganing. For little ones who don't ski well yet, there is after Ventron a track with a tensioner (15 minutes by car). In Ventron, a textile museum is more interesting than it appears with a demonstration of weaving and spinning. The house itself is well-equipped and clean and the automatic thermostat always brought us a pleasant temperature. All it really needs is a washing machine.

Excellent location for us and our dog. Everything we needed in the house was there. Nearby is the beautiful hiking in the woods. Also there are beautiful routes for biking. Reception and departure were well arranged.

Maja was friendly and available, lives upstairs and passed by to check everything was good and make any needed arrangements. There was extra care in little details, like leaving some swiss snack on the table for when I checked-in, and personalizing a welcoming note on the door. The place felt to me very much like home, is very peaceful (no cars/ streets noise if you have the window of the bedroom and kitchen closed), the window from the bathroom fazes the garden and you can hear the birds from there in the morning, it was lovely. Everything was clean and had a nice, clean, neutral smell. The kitchen had all I needed and more to cook every day, the bed was very comfortable to me, and there were lots of options of lights (different dense/ light curtains and smaller and bigger lamps), which gave me the freedom to personalize the atmosphere. We booked Gabriel's place for our visit to Europapark and couldn't have chosen it better. The place was better than described - very spacious, hygienically clean and we particularly liked the beautiful large garden with views of the city and the storks located there. Games for our son were provided for indoors and outdoors and we lacked nothing indoors. Upon our arrival, little touches in the form of sweets and drinks were waiting for us. Gabriele was very helpful and was always available for information. We can fully recommend the place and would come back!

We spent 3 nights at Julian's place. He was a terrific host, helpful and ultra responsive. The place is in a great location and is well connected by Basel's amazing transport system, (bus and tram). The apartment is exactly as listed, very nice retro feel and a little quirky which made it feel that bit unique. Julian gave us great hints and tips and was kind enough to lend us some bikes which we used to cycle along the Rhine. The Basel travel card which Julian supplies is a real gem and makes navigating the city so much easier.

Eric is a great host, very friendly and helpful. Clean, well-maintained apartment. The kitchen is in perfect condition and with all necessary items. We'll be back for sure! Thank you so much

Vérène's apartment is very functional, and matches the description. We stayed little in the apartment because we were joining friends who lived in Obernai, but we enjoyed the impeccable cleanliness, bedding and beautifully sized rooms. In addition, communication with Vérène was very easy and her welcome was very friendly. We'll be happy to go back!

Such a beautiful discovery as this beautiful apartment! What strikes instantly is the great view! What a nice terrace! No vis-à-vis, quiet, birds chirping,... For a nature lover like me, it's a little paradise. The apartment is very cozy, well-equipped, clean. It quickly feels like home. We will definitely be back!

Wilfrid's studio is really a nice find to discover the region. The studio is very well equipped (we have rarely seen this on our Airbnb Experiences). The view of Lake Gerardmer is a real plus as well as the proximity to the city center. Parking space is really secure. We would definitely recommend this place. We'll be back for sure during our future stays in the area. Thanks again to Wilfrid for the quality of the exchanges before/during/after our stay.
