A beautifully designed home nestled in the Calder Valley, less than five minutes from both the River Calder and the Rochdale canal. The house is positioned between Halifax and Hebden Bridge giving you the best of both worlds. Perfect for walkers and cyclists, and those who just want to kick back and relax. Easy access to both Leeds and Manchester, both within a 1 hour drive. There is a bus stop a short walk away and the nearest train station is in Sowerby Bridge less than 3 miles away.
“Many thanks to Bianca and Craig for facilitating our stay in this beautiful, superbly equipped house. Although we have been limited in what we could do in the local area, we have very much enjoyed taking short walks along the canal and River Calder as well as into the hills behind the house. The house has proven to be a lovely peaceful space where we, as a family of 4, can all continue to work, rest and play. I thoroughly recommend this house to anyone who would like to explore this lovely part of the country when we reach better times. Thanks again x”
Delf Nook is a newly renovated, detached property, set in woodland in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, sleeping up to 4. We also welcome up to two well behaved dogs.
“Jill is an amazing host with a property to match. The cottage has everything you need inside it, and it is located on a private and peaceful plot of land. You can park your car right outside the door, and it has a nice big garden for dogs to play in. The cottage is immaculate and we loved the little surprise treats Jill left for us on our arrival including the dog biscuits for our dogs Coco and Lucky. We had a lovely few days staying at this property and would recommend it. There are plenty of places to eat near by, and we enjoyed visiting Todmorden and Hebden Bridge. Thank you Jill!x”

“Staying at Anne and John's place was so relaxing! I had an entire flat to myself which was brilliant because I needed to get a lot of work done. Anne and John are super kind. They left me to myself but were always available to answer any questions I had. They know loads about the area and are always up for a nice chat. Anne even agreed to let me use her washing machine because I was going to travel on after check-out, which is amazing, not everybody is OK with that. The view is amazing, you can see the entire valley and Sowerby Bridge at the foot of the hill. And the bed was the most comfortable one I've ever slept in. Definite recommendation from me, if you come to Halifax or Sowerby Bridge, stay with Anne, you'll be well looked after.”
