Vacation rentals with a firepit in Malcantone

We had a great stay at Federico's place. Even only the view is worth 5 stars. The villa is quite suitable for two families maybe even three. And Federico just did an amazing job being a host. He was super responsive and answered all our questions immediately with clear explanations and instructions. Would definitely want to stay here again. Thanks Federico and everyone helped...

Casa Sarina is very nice and quiet and has a fantastic view over Lake Lugano. In the village of Carona there is a small kiosk that provides everything for everyday needs. For larger purchases, however, you have to drive into the valley via the serpentine road. From the property you can either walk directly or take wonderful walks through Vico Morcote to Morcote or Monte San Salvatore after a short drive by car. The place was very clean and as described by the landlord. Markus and Anna are very loving hosts and have enriched our stay with many tips. We would choose this accommodation again anytime.

We had a peaceful and relaxing time at Zoé's place. The house is really cozy and well-equipped, and Zoé is a great host, always attentive to our needs. If we have the chance, we'd love to come back :)

Fun, fabulous and friendly. We loved our stay at Mauro’s place. It is in a great location for exploring Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta. We were very comfortable, had everything we needed and were even able to park our Motorhome. Mauro’s artwork was an added bonus. Highly recommended.

Simply a great place to stay for holidays in Ticino. Brigitte personally welcomed us and showed us everything. She gave us great recommendations for the area, which we tried directly and enriched our vacation with her knowledge of Ticino. The Ticino house is very nice, practical and thoughtfully furnished and offers wonderful seating especially outside with great views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Maggiore in the distance. The kitchen is very well equipped and the appliances all work great. The wine cellar also invites you to try. We are always happy to include the box of guidebooks, maps and brochures in our daily planning. We also liked the location of the house. A little away from big main roads, but also not too far away. So the trips to the excursion destinations were very pleasant and shopping facilities were also easy and quick to reach by car

We felt very comfortable in the house Everything as on the pictures , pool was also great , barbecue was available , enough space to park. Andrea was very friendly, the communication was excellent and otherwise we were also satisfied.

A very nice and cozy apartment. A fantastic view from the garden, to say the least. Sonia is very helpful and kind. We have all been given a series of directions for a stay in the name of things to visit. What a great to come back for sure

I had an amazing time at this place! The huge natural-style garden is a true paradise for nature lovers, and although my visit was at the beginning of fall, there was still a big variety of produce I was invited to pick from it - including some tasty plants I didn't even know before :) I had originally planned to explore much more of the local area, but I just felt so at home and relaxed in cottage & garden that I actually spent most of my time there. Emiliano and his girlfriend are super nice people and amazing hosts: Kind and helpful in every regard, and great to share a glass of wine with. They succeeded in making me feel right at home. I'll visit again for sure!

My friend and I spent 5 nights at Claudio’s beautiful place up in the mountains. The place was amazing and cosy and the view over lake como was stunning. It was easy to walk around and Claudio was super helpful and really cares about his guests. We can really recommend this place and would love to come back.

It's a beautiful, modernly furnished apartment, with great views of Lake Maggiore. We enjoyed the time very much. Since you can only get to the apartment via steep stairs, you should be well on foot. Climbing stairs keeps you fit!😉 Christoph is a friendly, helpful host. We will be happy to come back and can only recommend it.

The accommodation is very nice, is in a quiet location and is easily accessible by bus. The apartment has everything you need for your stay. Roberto responds quickly to messages. We felt very comfortable there.

The place was found as described. Clean, spacious, with a super equipped kitchen and a beautiful view of the garden. The location is great. 5 minutes by foot to Tenero train station as well as Migros, pharmacy and Denner. Perfectly connected to public transport for excursions in all directions. Christine as well as the fellow residents are very nice and available for a chat. If anything else is needed, it will be easily helped out. The stay was very pleasant and relaxing. I can highly recommend the space and would come back to it more times. Many thanks✨

Perfect stay in a superlative place: we were looking for peace, tranquility, well-being, contact with nature and privacy...here we found everything, even more so! We were able to fully take advantage of all the services offered and I have to say that sauna and outdoor bathtub are a must. The greenhouse is a delightful corner where you can refresh and get lost, wonderful! Impeccable cleanliness, Marina is super friendly and helpful, the place is enchanting, cared for and welcoming, fully enjoyed stay...so thank you Andrea and Marina, we will definitely be back! We had a wonderful week-long stay and cooked many meals. Kitchen was well equipped. Our our rental car was necessary as nearest grocery store is about a 30 minute walk. Parking was easy to find thanks to Massimo’s welcome documents. He also offered guides with restaurant and excursion recommendations as well as detailed instructions. We were very satisfied with the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom, but the basement room was admittedly musty due to humidity. Common space featured a spacious couch and smart TV that we enjoyed watching. Balcony and view were stunning, and if it wasn’t for the rainy weather we had we would’ve used it a lot more. Bregano is small and quiet but it is a day trip away from plenty of interesting places like Milan, Lake Como, and Lugano, making it a great place to stay if you’re okay to do a bit of driving. Massimo checked in a few times during our stay and provided us with fresh towels halfway through the week as requested. We would definitely stay here again.

Devid's place is cosy pleasant and well equipped cabin. It is located on a very beautiful mountain close to many hikes and having amazing views. Devid and his partner communicated very well with us and guided us with whatever was needed.

Very nice, well-kept rustico in a quiet location with great views. Unfortunately, we had bad luck with the weather, but from the house you can take great hikes. Merci to Fabio and Bernadette for the hospitality.

A beautiful place in the middle of the woods – highly recommended! Alois welcomed us very warmly and was always helpful. He gave us all the important information, so we immediately felt comfortable. The cottage is lovingly furnished and ideal for unwinding and enjoying nature. I'm sure we'll be back!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Ca Pedrot! The cabin is super cozy, we loved the sauna, and the views are fantastic. We loved the little touches like nice bed linens and towels and luxury soaps. There's an extensive range of pots/pans, cooking utensils, etc. The cabin has plenty of privacy. It's also is on a nice snowshoe path, for winter visits. We were particularly impressed by Andy, the host, who was super communicative, got the fire going in the wood stove for us because we were arriving in the evening, gave us pointers for using the cable car and finding the cabin in the dark. True hospitality! Can't wait to go back.

Mountain house surrounded by nature with breathtaking views that, alone, is worth the asking price for the stay. The house is spacious (we were in 5 adults) and has everything you need for a peaceful and pleasant stay. The two wood-burning fireplaces available are more than enough to heat the spaces in a short time and give a timeless atmosphere. Mario is an extraordinary host: responsive, very kind and available. The directions and instructions you gave us on the different roads to get to the house were clear, real and useful. In short: I recommend everyone to stay in Mario's house, you will not be disappointed!!

We were hosted very well by Maruska. The hamlet of Piantürin is full of charm, secluded and very quiet, with several possible hiking trails. Great experience despite bad weather, great value… We'll be back! Thank you Maruska.
