Monthly Rentals in Masongill

I cannot recommend staying here enough. Myself and my husband were competing in the 3 peak challenge. we arrived later in the evening. it was located right near the shops for all the items we had forgotten. We also popped to the local which was 1 min walk for a pint before bed. Heather was there to greet us and show us to the apartment which was spotless and spacious. Just perfect! Heather gave us lots of advice for the next day which we needed and gave us recommendations for the surrounding area. Offering assistance if we got stuck. when we finished the challenge we got a quick pizza from the local Pizza place which was amazing and highly recommended but there was lots if other choices too. Honestly if you plan to do the 3 peak challenge as a couple I highly recommend here as a place to stay!

Just what we were looking for, for a short relaxing break and lots of walking. Swallow Cottage was delightful, super comfortable, so clean, had everything you needed for a home from home. Very quirky with steps everywhere, even where you wouldn’t expect them! But all clearly signed. A great little gem.

A wonderful gift of wine and local handmade biscuits welcomed us on arrival. A beautiful home in a beautiful location, perfect for our family walk up Inglebrough and our 9yr olds first ever mountain hike. Howard provided everything we could have needed for a lovely break away. Lovely local community shop and post office with any essentials you might need. Was the perfect setting for long awaited family time. Thank you for having us as your guests!

We had a lovely stay, Julie sent a message to help us find the house easier. The location is beautiful, right by a river. We drove into Lower Bentham for some food which was only 10 minutes away. The house was spotless and cosy, and the bed was so comfortable. The TV had netflix access too which was nice. We were getting the boat from Heysham the next day, being only 30 minutes away staying here was much nicer than a hotel. Thanks!
