Villa vacation rentals in Milan

This is a beautiful modernist home in one of the best locations in Italy, close to Italian Alps, Aosta and Lakes Como and Maggiore, not to mention Milan itself, and, truly rare to find a modernist home of this standard and design, which is highly chic and the dream of any artist to live in a place such as this. We look forward to coming back many times. Personal thank you to Barbara and her wonderful grandfather!

Sergio's place was perfect for my group. The place is situated very close to a really nice grocery store and shopping area, and a convenient tram line that takes you straight to the center of Milan. The place itself was extremely clean, and was happy that the pictures reflected exactly what we found! Sergio was always extremely responsive with all of my questions, which made the stay that much more enjoyable. Would recommend for anyone with a large group looking to.visit Milan!

The host was very responsive and helpful from the day we booked the accommodation. He met us in person at the house and gave us a tour of the house and explained certain things like the recycling and how to use the TV's. The host was in communication with us regularly to check if we had any problems and ensure we were stocked with the essentials like washing up liquid, toilet roll etc. The location of the house is down a narrow one way road with a gated entrance to the property. I would advise not to bring a big car because the road and entrance are small! We are located just of the main road in Somma Lombardo and Lidl is only 5 minutes drive away (Or about 20 mins walk) and there are plenty of nearby restaurants to enjoy including a lovely Gelato shop It is not a quiet neighbourhood due to the local churches, dogs barking and airplanes taking off from nearby Malpensa airport but that is not fault of the host Overall, we were very happy with our stay! We had a great stay at La Casetta- it was a nice private place right next to a large green space. It was easy to walk to the bus or train and get around and then to return afterwards. The house was spotless and well maintained and Nicola was a friendly and helpful host. Our entire stay was extremely pleasant, we were sad to leave.

Dorella was a nice host. The communication was really good. The house is beautiful with an old atmosphere. The bathroom is new. It was very clean. All in all it was a nice stay. Thank you Dorella:)

We enjoyed our stay in Anna’s accommodation. It was clean, spacious, comfortable, well equipped, in the quiet part of Novara (20’ walk to the city centre) with plenty of free on street parking. Anna is a very friendly and responsive host. We definitely recommend staying here

This home is beautiful. The woodwork and the details of the home are gorgeous and I loved the big, beautiful windows. The home is impeccably clean. We loved the location for easy access to visit Milan, Como and other local areas. It is close to the train station, as well, and the trains in this part of Italy are so efficient. If you are looking for a house immersed in the beautiful Italian countryside, but within easy reach of airports and areas of interest, then this is the place for you! The house is unlike anywhere else we have stayed, and it felt so homely and relaxing. Hidden away amongst the trees, but close enough to Ghemme to be able to hear the church bells. Deer in the garden, a family of wild boar marching through the woods by the house, and even a porcupine climbing down a tree! Vineyards and a stunning view of the mountains. We were easily able to visit Lakes Maggiore, Orta and Como and spent a day in Milan. The welcome information suggests places of interest plus local restaurants and shops. It was easy to drive up to Alagna Valsensia, where we took a cable car up to a mountain restaurant. Thank you to Vincenzo, who met us at the house at 11pm (an evening flight from the UK) to show us around - and to Antonio, who was always happy to share his local knowledge 😊

The house was as pictured! The pool was very inviting and the house had plenty of necessities for a large group. The host was very responsive and communicated well even with a language barrier.

This became the highlight of a wonderful week in Italy. we would have stayed many more days if we could. I imagine Heaven to be literally like this place and experience Beautiful in every detail with a great staff. we had a private chef cooked dinner and breakfast that was spectacular too. I will find an excuse to come back!!!

We chose this castle to celebrate my husband's 30 years old, we were 12 people and as soon as the gate opened and we checked in, every guest seeing the territory was talking WOW, and when we inspected all the rooms it was WOW WOW WOW ) This is really not a villa, but a CASTLE, a huge territory, everything is green, it's quiet, birds singing, the only thing next to the chapel and from 7 in the morning the bells ring) For 12 people, the accommodation is perfect, there was enough space for everyone) if you want to celebrate the holiday, it is better to do it in the main living room in the middle there is enough space for eating and for dancing) Gabriel gave super clear instructions, there is a pizzeria nearby where we ordered takeaway food at 9 pm on arrival) used a hot vat) guests loved it and we too, we are delighted)

Good host and house. Had a minor problem during our week and they got someone out straight away to fix it - can't ask for more!

alex was very attentive and very kind. The place is beautiful and very quiet. We will go again when we have more free time. 100% recommended for anyone who wants to escape for a few days.

Katja was very good at communicating and we enjoyed the living space which was finished to a high standard. We were visiting friends in Bergamo and S. Pellegrino most of the time, as well as Lake Garda so were introduced to some excellent restaurants in those places (Baretto, Via al Costello and Osteria al Gigianca in Bergamo and La Fruslina, S.Pellegrino - highly recommended) so can’t comment on local restaurants. Air conditioning worked very well and the pool was great for cooling off in the day. Overall, a great stay and would recommend it as a base for exploring Lombardia and Milan.

We had a great time at Silvia - you only get a glimpse of the place here on Airbnb but the villa and especially the huge pool area is even better in reality. Everything was very clean and we felt like we had the whole place almost to ourself. The fridge with water and prosecco was great! Silvia was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed :) Only the mattress was very soft and might not be the newest, but that wasn‘t a problem for us. You‘ll definately need a car there and it’s a nice starting point for day trips around the area. :)

Very friendly host. The vibe was nice and relaxing, great interior and facilities. It is placed pretty remote, but easy acces to the place - it is like at nice hotel, just smaller, more private with very good vacational and cozy facillities - nice to have the outdoor kitchen and you can have groceries in the fridge :)

The landlord is kind and collected the exhibits for our exhibition in advance. The environment is quiet, and the house is very spacious. There is also a very large shopping mall nearby. It is more convenient to travel by car.

It was great! really really great - we were very busy but enjoyed every second. the only little things was the water pressure but i am sure piergiorgio is fixing that.
