Vacation rentals with a kayak in Mindanao

wow, just wow, what a lovely place to stay. the house although small is extremely. comfortable and the surrounds a delight to stay in. the caretaker was up to anything we asked of him and was extremey helpful in locating local suppliers of just about anything we wanted. on the downside. the owners have installed cctv cameras and are ever watchful, however they fail to tell you this when you book in or in their house notes. listening to conversations, acting on those conversations put a real feeling of being overwatched on our trip. especially after the wife felt exposed exiting the bedroom to the balcony without a top on on the first night. We understand security is a top priority, however there is a line and we feel they crossed it, as every where else we have stayed has been upfront about location and limitations of their cameras. other than that the local kids, villagers and everyone else we came in contact with were fantastic. we will revisit if they will have us. well done.

Karen is a great host, she was proactive and made check-in easy. She responds very quickly to messages. All his recommendations were really worth it. The place is beautiful, very private with splendid views and amazing sunsets! Close to activities like waterfall tour or swimming in beautiful lagoons! Wilson was really kind to respond to our requests. Definitely will be coming back!

My family and I had a great stay at this airbnb for a whole month. Totally worth it!! The surrounding places were very convenient as there were many department stores where we could quickly access any of our essentials, as well as the friendly people surrounding the area which gave us the impression of the area being safe. Troy was very responsive with any of our concerns regarding the place and had quick solutions for any of them. Troy was also very accomodating and kind towards his guests which made our stay well spent knowing his friendly character. Troy lives nearby and occassionally checks up on airbnb. No regrets!! Thank you Troy.

Our stay was lovely. With your own private gate to a coral reef at the bottom of the garden and a stunning view to match, you could not be in better surroundings. Chin Chin and Litho, our caretakers, took care of any requests we had when we asked them. There are a few local eateries within a few minutes' walk from the property and you can get a bus into Dumaguete right outside the house - it takes about 45 minutes. The only things to note are the numerous cockerals that crow at all hours and the fact that the water pressure in the shower is quite low. Apart from this, if you love being off the beaten track and you want a slice of local culture, then this is the place for you!

This a great beach front home! It has a large pool, beautiful grounds, private environment, and a picture perfect view across the ocean. The home has 2 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, full kitchen, and large living room with a great tv and strong wi-fi. The air conditioning works great throughout the home. With beautiful marble floors and a large porch (where we took all of our meals), it is a classy place. We were truly on vacation when Gloria supplied a cook who prepared all of our meals. Her fee was very low and the meals were delicious! Jeb was our onsite person who cleaned the pool each morning and ensured that the grounds were kept immaculate. Gloria arranged our airport pickup with Ricky whose fee was also very reasonable. Gloria made our time time there even better from her greeting us upon our arrival to responding our questions very quickly, she truly cares about her guests. It takes a little extra effort to get there, but it is well worth it. We love this place, and you will too!

the villa was actually even better than on the photos, very beautiful and spacious. great swimming pool and garden. there is staff on site if you need any help.

We had the privilege of staying at both Angeles properties while we were in the Philippines and both locations offer something unique and beautiful! We loved everything about our stay here as well as at her neighboring property

the place was very unique and homey. it was lovely waking up to the sound of the waves and catching the sunrise. our favorite is having our breakfast at the balcony overlooking the beautiful ocean and small islets. we also love the pizza and mango rum served at the restaurant. the location is very ideal, near to most restaurants, pubs and local shops. it is at the center of the tourist area but the place is quiet and isolated. we can't wait to be back again.
