Lindisfarne is located 75 miles north of the Twin Cities in East Central Minnesota on 80 acres. The Tower is just one of 3 Cabins we have here on the grounds. Enjoy a walk through the woods on one of our trails, relax in the Chapel or enjoying a fire in our fire ring. Lindisfarne is an ideal location to just get out of town for a couple days.
“Lindisfarne is a wonderful country retreat spot. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and the comfortable space. The design of the cabin is thoughtful, with the surrounding nature as the focus. The big picture window highlighted the night sky, and we enjoyed beautiful views of the moon and shooting stars. The fireplace and the heated floors made for a very comfortable and cozy winter getaway. Thank you for a lovely stay!”
*Completely remodeled in 2018, this cabin has 130 feet of direct frontage on the Snake River. Gorgeous wooded acreage gives privacy and the up north feeling, yet is less than 1 hour from Minneapolis, and 10 minutes from historic Pine City, a great place to shop and grab a bite to eat. Use our kayaks or tubes to float down to the St. Croix River, or hang a fishing line out and see what happens!
“We had a lovely stay. Enjoyed coffee in the hammock in the mornings (we didn’t know there was a hammock and that was such a plus), grilled out in the evenings, and campfires at night. We used the two kayaks and life vests available. They are in great shape! We began at the landing Tracy recommended (there is a little a turn off to get to the landing just before the bridge that leads you down to a perfect spot to put the kayaks in the water.. it’s easy to miss if your not familiar with the area but it’s there) Dont forget to bring your fishing gear because there is an awesome spot just down the steps to throw a line out and relax. We brought our own firewood (I recommend if you want a roaring fire) and had to gather some of our own because we ran out which was a fun little adventure. Definitely recommend this little spot.”
This is the place for the true cabin experience. Located on Devils Lake, a private lake known for its pan fish. Canoe and a small fishing boat available at no extra charge. This beautiful cabin feels like it is in the boundary waters, only it is 1 hour away from Minneapolis. The property has stairs both inside and down to the lake, so children would need to be supervised. Dogs are allowed you need to keep them on the property and not let them go to the neighbors.
“This was our second year back at Kimberly’s cabin and we had another fantastic and relaxing weekend. The cabin has everything you might need or want, and we were especially grateful that there was a kayak, paddle board and canoe available for our use. We also used the fire pit one night which was really fun. It’s on a beautiful little lake, and if you’re lucky you’ll catch some spectacular sunsets from the dockside. Checking and getting settled was very easy, and it truly felt like our home away from home, can’t wait to hopefully return next summer.”
