Angels’ Share is an architect designed contemporary cottage over looking Knock Bay and the ruins of Knock Castle. There is spacious accommodation for two people, with room for two children or two “small adults” on a sofa bed. The cottage is situated on the Sleat peninsula known as the Garden of Skye. The cottage is not far from from the Skye Bridge and the mainland ferry ports. It makes a great base for exploring the whole of Skye's beautiful scenery.
“We had an amazing stay at Angels Share. John and Mhairi were excellent hosts who gave us complete space and privacy to enjoy their accommodation but we knew they were right there if we needed them, and we didn’t! Angels Share has all you could want or need and more, it’s packed with thoughtful and homely touches, providing everything to connect you with the modern world but also everything to occupy you if you want to disconnect - the best of both worlds! We have already been recommending Angels to friends and family and would recommend it to everyone. We can’t wait to return.”
Wake to the morning call of Invercaimbe's resident Curlews and fall asleep after witnessing one of Arisaig's spectacular sunsets. Perched directly above the beach, Invercaimbe Croft House is a tastefully decorated, traditional croft house perfectly suited to both families and couples alike.
“We spent two weeks in the accommodation. It was just wonderful. The house is so great right on the beach and the space at the kitchen window is just a dream. It does not matter if the weather is dry and sunny, or the rain is whipping. You are protected behind the window and it feels almost like being outside. Pamela and her niece Paula were very friendly and helpful and responded promptly when we needed something. With the dog we could make beautiful beach walks directly from the house. The rooms are very nicely decorated and in the evening we heated the fireplace. It is really cozy there and the location is just spectacular. Pamela welcomed us with a basket of bread, wine and snacks and everywhere in the rooms there were fresh flowers in vases.”
Enjoy privacy, the peace and tranquility in this cosy renovation of Arisaig's Old Bakery. Placed in an ideal spot within 5 mins walking distance to the Railway Station, the sea and the shore's edge which can be seen from the garden. The cottage has Superfast Wifi and is perfect for those who want to explore Lochaber, as the Out Door Capital of the UK, the Small Isles and Skye or travel further afield to the Outer Hebrides. There are great places locally to eat and drink.
“The old bakery is a lovely, stylish and clean house to stay in Arisaig and only a short walk to both main street along the seafront and the train station. We would reccomend the train to Fort William even at that time of year as although the steam train off for the season the scenic route is spectacular. Be aware that several local restraints close down for winter season and even the Arisaig hotel has very reduced opening hours. We were thankful for the old library lodge as the only place yo get something to eat without a further drive. Would recommend this place to stay though, set in beautiful landscape and has everything you need for a great holiday.”
