Arty miners cottage, wild tin coast of Botallack

This old miners cottage has been colourfully transformed by the artist owner. Traditional granite walls keep the rooms cool in summer and on chilly evenings you can cosy up around the log burner. There is a good size garden with mature trees, a BBQ and outdoor dining area. It's the perfect base for exploring the mines of Botallack, where Poldark was filmed and is also close to many local beaches including Sennen Cove and Porthcurno. The house is not suitable for people with mobility issues.

'The Artist's Loft' Amazing Sea and Harbour Views

'The Artist's Loft' is fully self-contained and has been beautifully restored by Maria and Terry. It has its own kitchen, bath/shower and w.c. From our balcony window you can enjoy unique views into Newlyn harbour and the whole of Mounts Bay, including St Michael's Mount. There's lots to explore in Newlyn, and a leisurely 20 minute stroll along 'The Prom' takes you to the famous Jubilee Pool, another 5 minutes and you've arrived at Penzance Harbour with it's quay-side shops and restaurants.

Niver Dew Cottage, Pendeen

An Enjoy England 4-star Gold Award, Grade II listed quaint Cornish cottage. Built from local granite, with beautiful views of the sea and the local mining heritage. Original features can still be found in the cottage such as a large inglenook fireplace in the sitting room. There are two cosy bedrooms, sleeping a total of 3 guests. The front bedroom has a King-size bed complete with a luxury Hypnos mattress. The smaller back bedroom has a single divan bed with a pocket sprung mattress.

The Byre, Zennor near St Ives

Set on a 160 acre working Pedigree Aberdeen Angus farm, The Byre is situated up a windy Cornish lane, attached to the owners’ farm house. This hideaway is set between the wild west moors and the Atlantic Ocean. A place for all seasons, The byre has its own private garden, to be enjoyed after a day of sun and salty air, with a glass of chilled wine. Purpose built wooden cabin providing an en suite bedroom, in the garden, tucked up behind the brook. Unrestricted access to the shared kitchen in the main house. Sleeps up to 3 people (2 adults and 1 child), and enjoys views of the surrounding garden and brook. You are actually right next to the babbling brook, to lull you off to sleep! The cabin is a 7 minute walk from Tanglewood Wild Garden which ranks as number 5 in Tripadvisor’s 10 top attractions in Penzance!

A bright and airy studio, one king sized bed, 15 minutes walk to the coast path. Views onto open countryside. Lots of places to explore. There's a well stocked village shop, fish and chip shop and 2 pubs nearby. Fully equipped kitchenette for preparing simple meals. Travel cot on request. There is no parking outside the studio. There is free roadside parking before you turn off for the terrrace 100m away. The studio is for 2 guests only Strictly no extra guests!

Pines at Carminowe Farm, a peaceful rural retreat

Cozy flat located at Carminowe Farm, just outside the village of Pendeen, slightly off the beaten track with no close neighbours, making it extremely peaceful and a haven for wildlife. It's a short walk to the shop, pubs and local facilities. The coast path is approximately a mile and a half away. The flat has ample parking and its own courtyard seating area. The hosts live in the main part of the house and have a border collie called Bill and a cat.

Sunset Retreat Zennor

Sunset Retreat is a cosy and romantic Shepherds Hut nestling within walking distance of the village of Zennor. It offers stunning sunset views and after dark is ideal for stargazing, due to zero light pollution. By day you can walk the coastal path, explore the moors , or visit either the Gurnard’s Head or Tinners Arms for lunch or dinner. The coastal towns of St Ives, Penzance and St Just are a 15 minute drive or you can choose the coastal bus.
