Family-friendly vacation rentals in Mount Duneed

Our family were very happy with venue. Our 9 grandchildren had plenty of space to play in and they had plenty of activities there to occupy them. We adults had our own space for meals and catching up. The coffee machine was a great hit too. We highly recommend this house for families.

The pictures you see of Swan Bay Views cannot prepare you for the amazing experience you will have when visiting. Glenys and Geoff go above and beyond to help any person staying at their AirBnB. This private space has all you can ask for - a TV with numerous entertainment options, a fully decked kitchen with an array of amenities, a comfortable king size bed, spacious bathroom/laundry, a cosy backyard and the inviting spa. We highly recommend the continental breakfast, especially the sourdough bread and home-made jams. You will not want for anything, nothing is too much trouble and Glenys is a wealth of local knowledge. We have found our new home away from home. You have given us some food for thought and we’ll be thinking long and hard. Moby, our 14 year old dog also had the best time and enjoyed your pet friendly house and yard. If only we could rate more than 5 stars! We’ll be sharing with our friends :)

lovely stay at tgeicean groce cabins, host as very helpful via messages, there was wine & chocolate waiting on arrival, everything you needed for a great few days away even body boards for our son to borrow and use , 20 min walk to bars, restaurants & shops lovely peaceful setting with so many birds

Absolutely beautiful place, The hosts were really friendly and very helpful. Even gave us fererro roches and fresh fruit. Offered us late checkout too ! Really kind hosts. Would stay here again for sure and 100% would recommend this beautiful spot.

We had a great stay at Simon’s. It catered for the whole family with kids and dogs. Great location directly opposite the beach, undercover bbq area and kids playground. Big fenced backyard for the dogs and play equipment to entertain the kids. There’s a studio detached from the house which was perfect for a guest with sensory sensitives when peace and quiet was needed. Highly recommended.

Graeme is a wonderful host. He and his huskies are so very friendly. Have no hesitation in recommended Graeme’s place. It’s our second stay and will be back.

Jane’s Blue House was a pleasure to stay at. Comfortable beds and good shower! I hope to be back next time with my 4 legged friends as I had to leave them behind for this trip.

Such a lovely home. Walkable to local shops, beautiful backyard for kids and hanging out. We loved the house. Very retro vibes and comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We absolutely loved our short stay at Eve's in Torquay. The house is in such a great location with Whites Beach at the end of the road. It was literally doggy heaven with dogs allowed off lead along the beach and a short walk to The Salty Dog Cafe for our morning coffee. There are so many cafes and restaurants also within walking distance, so perfect for an active and outdoorsy weekend away. Although there was only two of us and our dog, the house is spacious enough for another couple or extended family. It's also cosy, comfortable and well equipped for those who prefer to stay in.

Wonderful place for the family to stay. It catered for all age groups which we had from a new born to grandparents. Was quiet and peaceful. The host, Angela, was superb with her communication and very flexible with check in and check out times.

Stayed 3 nights and its was very comfortable. lovely amenities and the kitchen was great, plenty of pots, pans and utensils. Walking distance from St Leonards.... the bed was very comfortable and the couches were comfy also...bathroom shower was great....everything you need....very happy with our stay. Hosts Sandy and Clive were very easy to communicate with and very helpful...they also left us alone to enjoy.

Awesome home to stay in. Exactly as described, even better and more spacious than the photos show. We loved our stay as it felt like a home away from home. The pool was lovely, allowing us to be spoilt for choice if we wanted to have a down day and chill at home. Perfect location, close to all the necessary shops and of course the beaches, restaurants and spas. Would definitely love to stay here again for sure. Absolutely worth the price!!! We were there for a birthday the place was clean, tidy and welcoming. It had all of the facilities we would expect. We had a great time with our family and would do it again. The bungalow in particular was a great space for young ones.

We travelled with our two young kids and Stew’s place was the perfect retreat. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Stew was friendly and gave us some great tips of things to do, see and eat around the area. The cottage was also very clean and comfortable - we would certainly stay again!

An absolutely amazing house. We had an incredible time and I look forward to staying here in the future. Host is very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. Pool and tennis court are absolutely fantastic. Bedrooms and beds are very very comfortable. The house literally has everything you need.

What an absolutely perfect stay we had. Tamara was an amazing host, helping us organise our elopment wedding from Scotland. The house was huge and well kept. we paid to get the pool heated and it was like a warm bath - we spent ages in there and the kids loved it. If we visit again we would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Jacqueline’s place. The hero of the stay is the backyard - perfect for dogs, ideal for Santa’s BBL Beach Cricket set and we loved the hot tub. Would absolutely recommend.
