We had a wonderful stay at this charming little house, which is actually a beautifully remodeled workshop/barn. It has been tastefully renovated with a modern touch while still keeping the cozy, rustic feel intact. The large pergola gave the place so much character, and being surrounded by animals made it feel like a peaceful countryside escape. Cathie and Michael are incredibly welcoming hosts. They made us feel right at home and shared some great local tips that really helped us make the most of our time. There are several beautiful nature walks within 30 minutes of the property—one of them turned out to be the hardest (and most rewarding!) hike of our trip. Alexandra itself isn't overly touristy, which we absolutely loved. It felt like discovering a little bit of a hidden gem, the nature in the area is beautiful. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for something a little special.

This was a lovely relaxing stay. The tiny house was exactly like the photos, very clean and cosy. The check in instructions were clear and Joanna was helpful and quick to respond to messages. We loved the outdoor bath and fire pit.

The views overlooking the Cathedral Ranges are absolutely breathtaking — especially at sunset. This spot is a stone’s throw from the Cathedral Ranges State Park, making it the perfect please adventurers looking to hike or explore the surrounding region. The highlight of our stay was Izzy, the gorgeous and well-mannered Labrador, who happily joined us on walks and was the perfect companion for a drink on the deck. Great place with amazing views! I would definitely recommend this place for a group of 4–6 people, although it’s most comfortable for 4. The location is also convenient - close to shops in case you need anything. The host, Natalie is fantastic. She’s very responsive and replies promptly to messages.
