Beach house vacation rentals in New York

This is a beautiful two bedroom apartment with a driveway directly across the street from the beach. It’s in a quiet part of the Rockaway Peninsula, a short walk or drive from a supermarket and a handful of restaurants and coffee shops. The nearby beach is popular with surfers.

The location was great. Walking distance to good restaurants and the beach. Good mountain biking trails not too far away. We visited in October. Maybe too chilly to go swimming, but perfect for sitting on the beach enjoying the surf, sand, sun, and a good book. Chris was an amazing host. The house was very clean and the perfect size for our family get together.

Great and clean place, exactly like the pictures, safe neighborhood, and right by the beach.

Welcoming and responsive

This place is awesome for what it is - a large home that can accommodate many people with a ton of space. It also doesn't have the Airbnb special room of 4+ beds that sleeps 8 to pump up the amount that can sleep there. This listing is straightforward. The keyless entry is awesome, everything in the house works, and there is plenty of parking and amenities. It is older and dated, however, and lacks a few finish details but for what it is, this house is very, very worth it. Each room was separated enough to have privacy, the kitchen was functional, and the dining room, living room, and entry/sunroom all offered enough room for everybody in our party to feel comfortable. I would stay here again, especially with a large group. We were 7 adults and 6 children (all under 8) and this was 1000% better than a hotel or other living arrangement. Thank you Ashley! We were there to visit family in Westchester New York and it was only about 30 minutes away. Also, the place was very cozy and had everything you needed to make your stay go smooth. The pics were accurate and there's a beach just down the block within walking distance. I would definitely stay again

This house worked out really well for our group. It was very clean, bright, and spacious. It was so peaceful looking out the windows and seeing the ocean so close. We loved parking the car after a long journey to get there and walking everywhere. The beach was steps away and there were lots of restaurants and shops right across the street. It was perfect! We have family and friends in NYC and the close proximity to everyone was great! We plan to use this house whenever we are in the NYC area.

Chris is one of the best host so far. Stating from the check in to giving recommendations and helping us when there is a problem the communication was so seemless. Would 100%recommend this place if anyone visiting Newyork. The house is maintained very well and clean. Thank you for having us

WOW! 5 stars is not enough for this bungalow!!! Immediately upon entering the bungalow, I felt right at home. The entire bungalow was spotless and smelled amazingly fresh. David and his wife Ileana are wonderful people and exceptional hosts. The level of hospitality is off the charts!!! Their response time to messages are incredible. They helped us navigate the city. They kindly took our dog out to play in the backyard while we were away in the city. The welcome basket and gifts for our dog were thoughtful and appreciated. I knew I would love it here because I already felt welcomed even before my arrival!

Carmen Juietha is a very welcoming host and her place is very clean and well taken care of. I come back when I'm in the area.

The home is so cozy and clean, offers you very good privacy in the backyard. Everything keeps in a very good condition. The location is very convenient. It’s not the kind of typical investment Airbnb house you can find anywhere. It’s a sweet home you will have the warmth feeling from heart that you will forget this is an Airbnb. Definitely recommend it!

Jeff runs an old school AirBnB, like it was meant to be, where you stay in a person's house with them, yet I had all the privacy and quiet I wanted. He was warm and welcoming, and the home was clean and safe. I had full access to the kitchen, so was able to save money, and only ate out as a treat when I chose. The house is 4 blocks from the train station, 2 blocks from the channel (the water between Long Beach and Long Island), and 9 blocks from the ocean. I was in Long Beach to visit my mother in a local nursing home, and Jeff asked, "How is Mom?" every day when I got back. It felt very sweet to me in a difficult situation. Thank you, Jeff.

Great place to stay, 10/10

Thank you F.J.! You made our quick stay upstate for a wedding so smooth. We had a lovely stay and even said we would love to come again to visit for a getaway from Manhattan. I would definitely recommend this lovely place!

Home was on a quiet street no noises to be heard other than the bells from the nearby church. home was dusty and seemed to need a good deep clean of vents and areas often overlooked. great value and location

Very beautiful and roomy. Host shared very clear instructions and was appreciative of the response times. Very comfortable and clean.

Perfectly suited for our family of 4 and doggie. Julie was easy to communicate with and the house was clean and tidy. Didn’t get to take advantage of the playground across the street because it was freezing out but that is a huge plus with kiddos.

The house and hosts were as good as one might hope for. They were both very responsive although we had no real issues. The house is well done by them with new bathrooms, clean kitchen, and hard wood floors that help with the feeling of the house being clean. We are from the area and the location of the house on a major road (rt. 35) was initially concerning but the house was very quiet for such a location. Great restaurant and breakfast spot within a 5-minute walk. We would no doubt look to stay at this location on our next visit to the area.

We recently stayed at Cherisse's house in Highlands NJ the week before Christmas. What a wonderful time we had. Her house is perfectly located near the Seastreak Ferry to NYC. We easily got to Brookly to meet with family. There are many good restaurants located nearby and are easy to get to. The house is bright, spacious and clean. The large living room was perfect for what we needed. The decorations really made everything appealing. We really appreciated how Cherisse communicated with us from the beginning to the end. we would love to stay there again.
